Good question. In some cases, they waste no time in doing so. In others, they don't mention it at all. Probably just coincidence, eh?Why should they?Another day another mass shooting. And do you know how towns stopped it? They took your guns away when you entered the city limits. That's how we won the west, by taking guns away not handing them out. It's like the wild, wild West again.

Yes, gun laws were stricter in the Wild West.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/adam-winkler/did-the-wild-west-have-mo_b_956035.htmlAnd do you know how towns stopped it? And THAT is what prisons should be for. We have solid evidence that banning guns is effective. Google Port Auther massacre and then how effective the gun banned worked.I'm not an expert, but I don't think banning guns will keep bad people from getting them
Australian comedian Jim Jefferies did a bit on gun control. And THAT is what prisons should be for. We have solid evidence that banning guns is effective. Some will counter that the U.S. is a different culture, but regardless of culture people do not want to go to prisoner.
City ban worked real good in Chicago.I could be way off base here but the feeling I get about gun control is the same one I had about cigarettes many years back when the first few bans started popping up. We are getting close to a tipping point where we are going to see changes. I'm not sure what but people are starting to get tired of these stories. I'm not sure how it will go - maybe cities implement a ban, maybe HOAs but I sense a change is on the way.
it's tough for cities to do anything. Philly has tried a few times and it gets locked up in different areas of the state or different legislative blocks. the things being suggested by Philly were always pretty senseible. i would have to look up the details, and i am too lazy right now to do so, but i remember 2 of them were a) you had to report any gun stolen to the police so they could track the gun and b) you were only allowed to buy one handgun per month i believe. the 3rd one they had was pretty sensible too, but i know it got locked up in government for months, or just enough time for many to forget about it, then it would be rejected for some reason.I could be way off base here but the feeling I get about gun control is the same one I had about cigarettes many years back when the first few bans started popping up. Well Chicago isn't really fair bc you can go to the suburb and easily get one. The Stat I go to us the percentage of illegal guns that are at some point legal. But I agree that I'm pretty numb to it all. If a bunch of kids being murdered didn't invoke change don't know what will.City ban worked real good in Chicago. And I'd like to agree with you on the state of the masses, but I think I people are getting numb to it as opposed to tired of it.I could be way off base here but the feeling I get about gun control is the same one I had about cigarettes many years back when the first few bans started popping up. Know I am.
"Now wait, nobody says you can't own a gun. Nobody's even saying you can't carry a gun. All we're saying is you can't carry one in town. Now that's not so much to ask, is it?" ~Virgil EarpAnd do you know how towns stopped it? They took your guns away when you entered the city limits. People are numb to stories like these, not the ones like Charleston.City ban worked real good in Chicago. And I'd like to agree with you on the state of the masses, but I think I people are getting numb to it as opposed to tired of it.I could be way off base here but the feeling I get about gun control is the same one I had about cigarettes many years back when the first few bans started popping up. It's going to be tough to turn the U.S. into an island, but maybe if we try real hard...And THAT is what prisons should be for. We have solid evidence that banning guns is effective. All of them are 3rd world countries, but hurray for us!There are 90 other countries with a higher murder rate than the United States.
