Aren't you Canadian?  Remember the Red Green Show?  This Old House is sort of like that, but take out all the comedy and fishing stuff.

"This Old House" USED TO BE a show on PBS where they would fix up old Colonial houses in the northeast, often incorporating design elements consistent with the historical era from which the house originated.

But now? Now it's just another house-flipping show.
