All I know is Mike Patterson is no longer even a good DT2. Maybe this is where all of the stats have gone.

Read the same about him filling in.I also read where he has played well enough that Philly was considering keeping him in the starting DT position.If so, good young guy to have around in dynasty.

I haven't seen anything in the media outside of speculation, but I can't see any way that Bunkley gets his job back. Dixon has been an absolute beast in the games. More so than just on the stat sheet. He's been everywhere. Head and shoulders above Patterson and Bunk. I'm guessing when Bunk is healthy, Patterson goes to the bench. Dixon has been great against the run and gets a suprising good pass rush.
Fantasy-wise it's hard to see him making a huge impact because Philly will always rotate linemen. He should get more reps than Bunkley and Patterson, so he'll be the more valuable of the three, but I don't know if that makes him fantasy viable.

What's the word on this guy?
Everytime I read something about him it says how good he is and coaches are raving about him. Yet I don't even think he started (or played?) in either of the games so far.
Is he hurt? I haven't heard anything about him being hurt.

He sprained his knee on 8/4 in practice (I was actually there when it happened). It did not look very good, but the trainer later said he only had "mild" knee sprain so he probably dodged a bullet on that one. Imagine they are allowing him plenty of time to rest it and hope he will be back on the field soon.
