Anybody trade for/away KJ yet? (1 Viewer)

I would think owner struggling with RB2 (lots of them out there) might be very intrigued with the possibility of having KJ in that offense. Anybody make deals yet? What's he going for?

The T Bell owner in our league is hurting for RB's. I hope something comes out today re KJ returning for week 3. Thinking about trying to package KJ and Braylon Edwards for Reggie Wayne. Would still leave me with LJ/ADP/MJD at RB and bolster the WR corps in a 3WR start league to S. Smith/Wayne/Galloway. But I don't know if that's too little or too much to make the deal happen.

You are giving him away too cheaply. Edwards is solid and while it gives you a small upgrade at WR I think you are helping the competition way more. Unless you do not believe in Jones you should wait for him to show he is back and ready.

You may be right. KJ when healthy might fetch a Wayne straight up. But I don't think it's a small upgrade to go from an inconsistent guy like Edwards (who went off on most people's bench yesterday) to a Wayne. The problem with receivers, more than any other position, is that you may look up at the end of the year and see that Wayne has 400 more yards and 3-4 TD's than an Edwards. But the difference is that every point a guy like Wayne gets will count, whereas 1/2 of what guys like Edwards gets will occur on your bench. So Edwards goes for 900 yards and 8 TD's, only you get 450 yards and 4 TD's of that in real production.Still may be too much though.

I don't expect big things of KJones for awhile. Detroit's got some rough matchups in the next 7 weeks or so. Duckett is there to vulture the GL carries and as bad as Bell has been, he'll still factor in to some degree. KJones is a much better pass catcher, so his real value will be in PPR leagues. The Lions play the Cowgirls week 14 and the Chiefs week 16 though, so he might be nice to have come playoff time.

Please see mine.

TIA
