I don't like bye weeks at all. I play the game to play the game. My league used to want 6 in playoffs and top 2 have a bye in week 14. In that scenario, only 4 of our 12 owners play in week 14. I argued that by only having 4 in playoffs EVERY team got to play week 14 and the league was down to top 4 by week 15 either way.

12 team leagues...In the playoffs, have the two bye week teams play each other for cash. Or for the right to choose their final four opponent between the other two teams that advance. Or both.Have the toilet bowl bye week teams play strictly for the choice of opponent (or the right to automatically play the lowest seeded team to advance).This way all 12 teams are playing a game week 14 with something on the line.
