Anyone benching Brees this week? (1 Viewer)

Is anyone bold enough to sit him, and if so who are you starting in his place?

With a couple of backup fantasy QB's possibly capable of outperforming him this week, Campbell vs Buff (not convinced) and Schaub at Tenn (I can see this happening) just trying to get a feel of what owners are doing.

Have Brees and Big Ben. Like every week, will start the one with the worst stats on the day. Haven't decided which one that is yet, though.

Same here. I will probably play Brees only because the ugly field conditions in Heinz Field and the horrible weather situation make me nervous to start Big Ben. The Steelers are claiming that the field is inexcellent condition now (yeah sure). In fact, let's not forget that BB has been less than spectacular since Santonio Holmes went down.I really don't have much faith in Brees either against a really tuff Tampa defense.

no.

had contemplated kitna, but since week 6 (besides week 11) brees has been money.

coupled with...

a) reggie bush sucks

b) minnesota is going to rock kitna senseless

i like brees chances tomorrow. somewhere along the lines of 250/3.

Starting Warner over Brees. Last time I did this Warner got knocked out of the game on the 3rd play. But Warner against the Browns is too good to pass up.

what's with the brees hate this week? TB is in the bottom half of the NFL in points and yards allowed. and that's padded by a schedule riddled with teams with terrible offenses.

play him with confidence unless you have someone else who's produced better - especially since week 6? (btw, only Brady and Romo have outproduced Brees since week 6)

Starting Warner over Brees, although same thing happened to me last time when Warner went out on 3rd play, but its vs Browns have to try too, easy a matchup

I have the same situation with Brees vs Schaub & Campbell. I started Schaub @ Clev last weekend over Brees and it ended up being the difference in my loss so I'm sticking with Brees from here on out and going with the "start who got you there" philosophy.

Right now I am starting Kitna over Brees, but I am still undecided.............. I am scared of the Minn Def and I think Brees will be solid today but not great.

Benched Ben for Brees due to Hinez field turf, plus when I sit Ben he goes off..
