Anyone catch McNabb blowing off Vick last night? (1 Viewer)

As for posting in any other threads regarding NFC East foes, I will challenge you to find "any" remarks or posts on my part. I can't even recall any posts I've made regarding the Giants or Redskins in recent memory. I made one remark about Eli's contract, in that "he was just the next in line" kind of thing. And sure, so I chimed in on Michael Vick. Who hasn't? All I've done is make some key observations that you evidently can't live with.

The truth hurts, doesn't it. Now go find all of those "digs" you're so sure I've made. I will be very interested to see what you come up with. I'm not holding my breath.

NEXT!
Remark.An all league encompassing question.

Remark.

A simple reply to a ridiculous question.

Remark.

And who doesn't recognize that McNabb prances around like a girl?

Seems to be a recurring theme.
Nice try though. I'll give you an "A" for effort, but where's the Giants and Redskins remarks? And the only recurring theme is that McNabb is an absolute A##. Not hard to figure out. I've only helped point it out.You are obviously grasping at straws here.

NEXT!!!

I just found what you challenged anyone to find. Perhaps you could see the competition committee to get you a rule change.

And you came up empty despite the reaches. Suck it up. You lost. There was no digging here, I was simply replying to questions.

Gotta start with McNabb.

His schtick is so old and transparent, I don't know who he thinks he's fooling.

Add to that his propensity for prancing around like a girl really annoys me, especially considering the fact that he thinks he's being cool while doing so.
Remark.
The Eagles have never won anything in the modern era.

That's where it starts, and that's where it ends.

The window has closed on Donovan McNabb. He just wasn't smart enough to pull his fingers from the sill before it did.

He was too busy gazing at "what could have been."
Remark.
Eagles... and it's not even close.

Being a Cowboys fan I just completely despise the Birds, and I can't stand watching McNabb prance around like a girl.

And yes, he does move like a girl at times. Much in the same way that Steven Segal "runs" like a girl.

It's disgusting.

Yet still no digging. As I said, simply replying to questions. And still nothing on the Giants or Redskins eh?

Just as I pointed out. Thank you.

Give it a rest and go to bed. You'll sleep better.

You're fighting a losing battle.

I win with reason. No shovels needed.

You, on the other hand, have nothing.

i found this thread by way of google typing in is mcnabb jealous of vick so if you dont mind id like to post my thoughts.when i sen vick was coming to the iggles and mcnabb lobbied for him all i thought in my mind was the extenze commercial when the couple keeps mentioning "this could be fun".if mcnabb truely lobbied he should have not had a prob with it.if they do this right this could turn out great and throw defenses out of whack

now seeing how vick probably wont start until my guess is week 3 we need to keep mcnabb 100% safe but after vick returns and you have mcnabb out wide and vick as qb throw the damn ball to him from time to time instead of having him out there as a wasted reciever (and vice versa) if skinny desean jackson and todd pinkston could take a hit why cant dmac as big as he is,it cant b any worse then some of those hits he has taken at qb.they could do so many things to throw these D's off it isnt funny with those to scrambling qbs and westbrook and some decent reciever for once.the only real problem i see is that andy reid has never been a very good clock manager and wasting TO's on a regular bases so this could be a cause for some concern, other than that if guys can get along and not cry about not getting this or that it should make for a ve ry exciting eagles season

Look, McNabb was completely honest in his press conference. He's all for Vick being there, he was the one who lobbied for it. And he understands why Andy put Vick into the game when he did. But he doesn't want to see that happen when the games count. I think if the Eagles give Vick entire series in the regular season, it'll be problematic. But I also don't think that's likely to happen so this is probably moot.
I think you're missing the forest for the trees on this one Woodrow. Disagreement on the topic is understandable but to dismiss it entirely doesn't make much sense. There was clearly an altercation on the sideline in the very first game Vick got game action. Many chided the signing with concerns of team chemistry (specifically due to McNabb) and it plays out immediately??? Again, to what extent it matters is debatable, but it's definitely not a moot point my friend.

That goes to Portis and his homo costumes. :boxing:
Also, nice homophobic slur you worked in there. Making Eagle Nation look classy.
Thanks for sharing your opinion of gay people though. We couldn't do without that.
Ugh. Stay classy GoBirds.

I wouldn't be shocked to see the Eagles cut Vick prior to the season opener.
Interesting...this is the first time I've read this thrown out there. Maybe if Vick looked lost on the field I could see it but he doesn't look like a player who has been out of the game for 2+ years. He still has his athletic ability and his arm looks as good as ever. Barring an off the field incident I think Vick is in Philly the next two seasons.

When I said in the initial "signing" thread, "Let the chaos begin...", I wasn't kidding. It's been more than substancial thus far both on and off the field, and we're only getting started.Philly won't win anything but headlines this year. Just wait until the crowd at The Link starts feeding off of each other once Vick is reinstated and McNabb is stinking up the joint in any semblence of a key game. And you know he will, he always does. And you know they will, because they always do. Meanwhile, McNabb is already shunning Vick just as he did with T.O.Ya, that sounds like a good recipe for success. It's only preseaon, yet this whole thing already appears to be derailing. I'm sure that's great medicine for the locker room.I wouldn't be shocked to see the Eagles cut Vick prior to the season opener.
"Already Derailing"? Give me an F-ing break, it was a preseason game, get over it. I'd rather have a QB that gives a S about getting the offense on track than one that spends most his time on US Weekly.Non Issue.

Did McNabb 'kill' Vick experiment?

Though Eagles head coach Andy Reid denied that Donovan McNabb made a gesture to offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg indicating that McNabb wanted to pull the plug on the first phase of the Mike Vick experiment, the video that played throughout the day on ESPN is unmistakable. McNabb makes the one-handed "kill it" gesture multiple times, sharply waving his hand under his chin. And it's pretty clear that McNabb's message to Mornhinweg includes the phrase "got no rhythm." Multiple players confirmed after the game that McNabb was miffed. Mornhinweg declined comment when he was asked about whether Donovan was upset.

profootballtalk

I would say this is NOT "a no issue" problem. Be interesting to see how the Eagles use Vick the next time they play

Boiling it down: Philadelphia has an asset under a cheap contract. They can do a couple of things: 1) play him as a spare, 2) keep him in "waiting" for a Donovan falter or injury or 3) play him as a tease and trade him for value to a team looking for a starter like Vick sometime sooner or later. Knowing the Eagle front office is pretty savvy, I think it is number 3...

So basically McNabb was upset the offense wasn't playing well? Wow, what a surprise. Big News. :lmao:

Wild Friday night huh guys? Take this to the Roy Williams injured again thread. :lmao:

Sorry BaGeL, wish I could help you out here, but I did not witness this supposed snub with my own eyes.

Not sure it was visible from the TV broadcast (or else we probably would have heard about it sooner). It must have been from a different camera that wasn't originally broadcast but later obtained by ESPN. The highlights were shown during Sportscenter yesterday. I'll see if I can find a video clip of it.
