Anyone ever have this texting issue? (1 Viewer)

Have tried searching the net but come up empty- I am getting a lag in texts received for a 3 way conversation, usually for around a day. Will suddenly have 37 texts at once. During the delay, I am able to send and receive texts normally with other people. This happens about once a week. iPhone 8 on T Mobile if it matters. Thoughts?

I read about this exact issue amongst T mobile users on another forum. The fix was pretty simple thankfully. 

Go into your other text message threads and make sure you delete all the dic pics you have recieved. Should do the trick.

Also did you try restarting the phone?
