Anyone grabbing Randy Moss now? (1 Viewer)

Not understanding the hype here... Wasn't Moss with Brady a few years back and how did that end.
NFL Records.
Really NFl records with NE, I thought those were set with the Vikings.
Yes. You should check the NFL record books.
Moss set the single season TD receptions record (23) with New England, beating out Jerry Rice's previous record of 22.
Nice -you failed to mention Rice did it in far fewer games.

Yeah. So what? The point is that Moss did in fact set a record in NE.

I picked him up, then dropped him in a 14 teamer. With Lance Moore out, and Denarius moore just a rookie, I have to take my chances with Brian Robiskie today

12 team start 4 WR/TE.

Roster is:

Fitzgerald

Collie

Denarius Moore

Witten

M. Lewis

Gronkowski

Since D. Moore was a flier and I'm thinking Collie and M. Lewis won't produce as drafted, cut Moore and picked up Moss on potential even though Loomis is saying there is nothing to the rumor.

New Orleans Saints have not expressed interest in Randy Moss, agent says

Published: Saturday, September 10, 2011,By The Times-Picayune NOLA.com

Joel Segal, agent of recently retired receiver Randy Moss, confirmed Saturday that he has not been contacted by the New Orleans Saints, and to his knowledge, the team has expressed no interest in his client.

WWLTV.com reported that Moss visited the Saints' facility Saturday.

The report came two days after Marques Colston, the Saints' leading receiver last season with 1,023 yards, suffered a broken collarbone in Thursday night's season-opening loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Lance Moore, who was second on the team in receiving with 723 yards in 2010, missed that game with a groin injury he suffered while the team was training in Oxnard, Calif.

If Moore is unable to play against the Chicago Bears in the team's home opener next Sunday, the Saints' top receivers would be veterans Devery Henderson, Robert Meachem and Courtney Roby and the inexperienced Adrian Arrington, who has seven career receptions.

Moss quietly retired in August after one of the most prolific careers in NFL history. He ranks second in touchdowns with 153, tied with Terrell Owens behind Jerry Rice. He's fifth in career yards with 14,858.

Any word on Moss? I picked him up a few weeks ago and am following advice from the Pool. We have been talking about dropping him this week.

thanks

Well Moore already had a better game than Moss will this year even if he unretires.

this thread was a joke when it was started, and it's even more comical now . . .
Yeah thinking about picking up one of the greatest WR and the greatest deep threat of all time is joke. Sure last year wasn't exactly the Randy Moss everyone would be interested in picking up, but put in the right situation he could be a great addition to any team. It's looking like he's not coming back now, so I guess the talk should be over. But to dismiss any thought of adding this guy, with a chance of him coming back, is far from a joke!

I think the topic was worth talking about at the start of the season, so the thread wasn't a "joke". Exactly how many times did Favre un-retire, and he did have a very relevant fantasy season one of those times.

But going into week 5, I'd be surprised to see Moss in uniform again and I'd be letting go.

Sure, but when your ww options are guys like dreessen, there is little incentive to drop him.
