Anyone not like Eddie Lacy? (2 Viewers)

Dynasty .. Am I crazy turning own Shady for my Lacy offer?
Are you in Win Now mode?
I try and win every year, with exception of Brees have a young core, Bell, Lacy, Miller, A Robinson, Landry, West. I have 2 1st round rookie pick for next year. 1 will be pick 9 or 10 the other 11 to 14. Trying today picks instead of Lacy. Always prefer proven player over the unknown in a pick.

Dynasty.. i dumped him and a 1st for Rawls Lockett Ajayi and a 2nd
Great haul! I think the Packers will begin to move on from him after this year. People have always said he just is not that into playing football. He has always been good at it, so he plays. I think a lot of the problems he has been showing this year are a demonstration of that. It will not be tough for the Packers to replace him. RBs are a dime a dozen unless you are truly special. There are probably only 2 - 3 of those in the league in any given year.

Lacy #1 RB in Green Bay again!

Where do you rank him this week now? A low end RB #1 versus a low end RB #2 or even a RB #3?

Let's see if he moves up in some rankings....because he sure wasn't getting much love
Yes indeed. I'm curious to see how Bloom and the rest change their rankings after hearing this news. I mean Lacy could run for a 100 + and two scores.

To me, that means very little. He will undoubtedly split time with Starks, who is clearly faster and making more plays than Lacy at this point.

Edit - but I appreciate the link. :)
More plays? Yeah when one guy doesn't play...the other one that actually plays gets more plays

Weather is going to be rotten.

Starks was horrible vs. Detroit

And he could have 3 carries for 5 yards early on and Starks ends up being the hot hand. It's a tough call.

Starks has not played well otherwise he would have a stranglehold on the starting job. Now he is a back up again after every opportunity it to be the guy. Lol.

. I agree with this. Starks has had plenty of hanged to really take the job and run with it so to speak. If the coaches were really confident in him, then Lacy wouldn't be named the starter again this week.

Lacy had been a stud for two weeks before last week's benching. He sat for missing curfew not playing poorly.

Debating whether to go with Eddie or Sproles. Polar opposites at the position.

Terrible weather conditions sets things up nicely for 20+ carries of work for Eddie. I look forward to a coming out party for THE HUNGRY ONE. He is going to feast on Dallas. 2 servings of touchdowns MINIMUM. He is going to go ALL YOU CAN EAT on that Dallas defense.

I can start Lacy or Hillman. As my previous posts indicate, I am huge Lacy fan but this year has been a rollercoaster. The good news is that I have until 4:00 PM to set my lineup! At the same time, george013 comments excite me about Lacy!

They hate them some Eddie Lacy up there in GB. Guy carries the O up the field to the 1.....QB sneak attempt on a fake to Lacy and then Starks gets called in.

Shared some meat with Starks but still ate! Time to pin our ears back and crash downhill! Just in time for the playoffs!!!

Talk about ball$ today. Rolled out Lacy and Crowell (you read that right). With some help from

AJ Green, I'm about to upset the top scoring team

In the league to advance to the conference final.

Lacy with a monster day
Monster? He was solid. Starks had a big day.
150 yards and a TD. With the current crop of healthy RBs left this season, that's a monster game. Starks had a big game too, but Lacy looked like he is back. If they split each game and continue to produce like this because the passing game is hurting so badly, great. The dude that owns Starks is out of the playoffs, so more power to him. I'll take 20+ points from my rb1.

Give me two more weeks of that, big man (and tell your coach to stop being cute and just give you the damned ball on the 1, for once).

Benched him for Yeldon, barely survived.

Back to the lineup Lacy, which means another dissapointment.

Hopefully Lacy can get these PPR catches that Starks always gets. Let the big man rumble downfield on a screen.

The volume, alone, should be enough for a solid day in this week's matchup. The PPR and short GL opportunities (if he should get some) will be the "difference makers".

I'm glad he was in my lineup yesterday and I think in real life, this illustrates what I and others said last week in that the real life Packers NEED him. They looked so much better yesterday. Apparently, the play calling change either was a very good thing also or was coincidental based on their opponent but I have to say for Lacy, Rodgers, Cobb...they ALL looked much more like what I think of when I think of the Packers yesterday than what they have.

McCarthy's jr high principal antics actually should have cost them the game (If the lions weren't so God awful rotten).

Is he off detention yet?...I heard McCarthy came to Lacy's hotel room and said the next time he has to come in there he's cracking skulls.
So you don't think there should be any discipline actions for guys that break curfew?
Where did I say that?
You accused McCarthy of Jr High Principal antics. That implies you have a problem with how it was handled rather than with Lacy breaking the rules.
Little slow on the uptake there jr?

Yes I have a problem with how it was handled....what does that have to do with the question you asked whether there should be any discipline?

You must have gotten punched in the face a lot.
Just curious if you have a different take on this given more information.

So it was reported that the Packers coaching staff contacted Nick Saban at Alabama and asked them how to get through to Lacy. Saban told them "take away a game". So Lacy misses curfew on the road in Detroit and the Packers basically took the opportunity to take away the game.

From today's Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:

"I know the last few weeks, things were a little different," Lacy said. "But I think it was just a way to show me this is what I love to do and without it I'm miserable. With Coach (McCarthy) taking me out and going through that, it just showed me that that's not what I want. By giving me a chance to come out and redeem myself, I think it was just a blessing in disguise."

Seems McCarthy might be just a little smarter than a HS principal

Early FBG's projections hate him this week vs Oakland.

Thoughts. It's not Dodd's and it's early in the week but

RB30 in my PPR scoring

12-47 and 1-12 rec.

I was going to put him in my lineup for sure, Oaklands run D? that good? Mack just going to be a force? Starks usage scare?
