Anyone play against mendenhall? (1 Viewer)

I think if u asked me if I'd take 65 yds and 1 td before they played Carolina I'd have taken it. Could have been much worse not to mention he got stuffed at the 1 twice.

I'm playing against him and I'm happy with the result so far. I also avoided playing J. Stewart to my benefit.

Yahoo projected Mendy with 14 points...got 13

Figured opponent in Championship just spotted me 1 point. :goodposting:

I think Mendenhall actually had 89 yards. It looked like NFL.com gave him -12 yards rushing on a play where he ran for 12 yards.

Why do you keep starting these completely pointless threads that revolve around your teams?

He scored 14.30 pts in the non-ppr league I'm in. How did you come up with 13? At least 14 is better than 4 if you're a Mendenhall owner.
Leagues have different scoring:65 yards rushing=6 points18 yards receiving=1 point1 rushing TD=6 points6+1+6=13
Oh yeah, we use decimal scoring, which is a good thing. Not getting anything for that extra 13 yards is just wrong.

JU, I agree...been pushing that (decimal scoring) )to a League vote for the past several years. :wall:

Yeah, I'll take the 14.3 points my opponent got from him...Props to the CAR d for stopping him the GL twice when the game was already over. Might save my season!!

I went against him and I was happy. He posted decent numbers but he certainly didn't kill me and I worried it could be a lot worse.

I also had the Pittsburgh D going for me and they outscored him in my league.

ah..leagues that like to dismiss yardages gain. Why do they do this? 13 yards just tossed away above for no reason.

:( Why would anyone be against decimal scoring?Anywho, Mendy didn't win anyone a championship last night but he certainly didn't lose it for anyone either.

Yup. I had him going and feel like it was somehow a draw. Had I just seen the 14.3 this morning I would have been pretty pleased, but knowing what he left on the field hurts a bit.

Considering that he started the game with a long run and he got a goaline target as well as 3 carries from the 1 yard line, people that faced him should be happy he didn't end up with much bigger numbers!

I don't feel real great about it, but I guess it could be worse. He was projected at 18.57 and hit 18.09 on my opponent's roster. Therefore it's close enough to the projection imo, so my opponent is off to a good start.

I don't know, i was kinda expecting 120 and possibly 2 vs the Panthers. I think we got very lucky. Not to mention the stuffed goaline and the missed td toss inside the 5. On the flipside of that, would it of killed that dude to have taken it in to the endzone and not gotten tackled at the 1? That led to Mendy's only td.

Yeah I think he got what was expected no more no less.

comforting? He got near his average. Face it, you are losing this week.
Yes, comforting. Considering his opponent, and the way the game went, and the points he left on the field, he could have (and probably should have) scored a lot more. I was expecting at least 20 points from him, and was very happy that he finished instead in the 14 point range.

I am happy with the result, but still have to worry about Foster and Rice  at least I picked up R. Jennings (projected 16pts) to replace a guy who was projected only 8pts.

Him not getting a 2nd TD was huge. Screw the projections, this was a game that had 20+ points written all over it.

Given the oponent and score, I'm glad the other RB's got carries, so garbage time became a non-factor.

While some here feel OK with his points, to me it was a win if you were against him this week.

Family and I flew in for Christmas... got to my sister's house around 11pm and she immediately told me the score - 27-0 at the time - and my first thoughts were Mendy with 100+ yards and 2-3 TD's... so yeah, I am thrilled with minimal damage from him in a blowout victory.

Opponent has Mendenhall, I have Wallace. I think I got the better result out of that game, with my WR2 outscoring his RB1. :)

I'm pissy he got the one yard plunge for the TD at the end of the half but I'm a greedy SOB.

Same Here....I went against Mendy (13.3) & Ward (4.8)....I will take that, he did average...While I have Pitt D (23 points) and Pitt Kicker (7 points) in both my championship teams...
