I know they are a bad team and playing a good run defense. But losing AP to the ankle and with Addai looking to be active (Brown)...I might roll with Hillis and hope for a goal line carry and a TD.
I'm wondering if he'll play some FB today with Marecic out and both Hardesty and Ogbannaya active.
I'm guessing even if he does play some FB he'd still be thee best goal line option. He's still a huge risk though, and despite Brown also being a huge risk, his matchup is much, much better.
Hardesty not feeling great in warmups. Tons of rain and wet field. I'm {} this close to putting him in there as I think the conditions play to Hillis strength.
Hell with it, I put him in. PPR over Spiller, Mathews, and Tolbert (yes, I know about Mathews report). Scared about DEN playing ball control against SD.
Rolled the dice. With Bradshaw out again I rolled with Hillis over marginal options.
Don't think I would have started him over players like Tolbert or Spiller today though. The Bengals defense is legit and you just don't know how many touched Hillis will be good for today.
for a guy supposed to see limited touches, he carried the ball 19 times. That is why I am stashing him for week 15. He will get a ton of carries against that Arizona defense during my playoffs.
