Anyone think Tebow Starts Week 7 in Miami? (1 Viewer)

Wow. I couldn't have been more wrong about this one. I figured Orton was good through at least into November. The Dolphins honoring that Gator team still strikes me as odd. Do they do the same thing for the Canes and Noles teams that won MNC's?

Same here. I'll admit when I am wrong, and this move shocked me. John Fox has never been so quick to pull someone like this, but I guess there is a first time for everything. That and the non-stop "Tebow" chants and the knowledge that he would probably be fired after one season at the end of the year if he didn't make the move.

No, the fans don't make these decisions and Elway has routinely said it's a 3-year rebuild.Edit to add: After the McDaniels thing they would not sign a new HC for one season only to fire him and continue the franchise instability. There is also the $$$ factor behind paying multiple coaches. There are a number of reasons Fox would not have been gone after the year regardless of whether he played TT.

wow, I obviously didn't expect this. Then again, that's why I'm just a fan. It's officially time for me to stop arguing about this guy and just observe him. I'm honestly a little relieved, I can't wait to evaluate him at year's end (as a fan who's perspective is based on nothing but watching games on TV).

Yes, he has. In his second season at Carolina, he pulled Rodney Peete during the first game, and replaced him with Delhomme, and Delhomme was named the starter from then on.
So after previously evaluating the guy for an entire season, he pulled him early in the 2nd year? Seems like exactly the same thing.

x3. No way on earth I thought a switch would happen this soon. This is one I missed badly on.

This is what makes the SP different. When people are wrong they actually admit they're wrong. Sometimes people are so stubborn and feel they "have" to be right. There's no harm in admitting your opinion on an issue turned out to be wrong. I wish more people were like that.
