@flapgreen - my son just about soiled himself at the idea of it this morning - I told him that you and your son might be on playing tonight.  So let me know if you still plan on that and he can hop on as well and kill some mo-fos.   

(I might just be sulking on the sidelines after my 2+ hours of playing, 0 kill night last night.. ;)  )

Cool. I'll have my boy invite him to start. Usually, my son plays a couple and then I do. But if they're having fun, I'll let him keep playing. 

 
Wtf.  He is playing, but says he cant hear anything.  I will have him plug in the buzzy controller after this match so they can communicate.  

There has to be a simple explanation way I cant chat on my account with 3 of the 4 controllers we have.  :wall:

 
Still zero clue what's going on with the chat.  He says he can hear your son, but evidently you guys can't hear him?

To be fair, he has 0 patience and pushes about 50 buttons in 2 secs, so I don't know what he has turned off and on in the chat room, etc.. 

 
My son said they are somehow in game chat - so that means the 3rd teammate and hear/talk too.  We might need to fix this before some ####### pops on.  

 
I will be honest - this might be more frustrating than getting 0 kills in 10 games like last night.  

Sure you guys don't want to order a PS4 for the quarantine??

So played on the entry level like you do.  Half the players have no idea what they're doing, of course. That's nice to kill someone who doesn't. Then, I get killed quickly by a guy and check the summary.  20 kills total for his character. 10 alone in that game. It's obvious other players are starting new accounts so they can dominate the newbs.

 
I downloaded it and started a few games today, got crushed pretty easily. Why is there no solo mode in the game?

Like our 2nd accounts?? ;)

I will look for that account/invite.   What level is that one at?   I will give you my secondary account too.  I think it's One21GWatts, but I will verify that when I log on.   Are we going to try to team up on the secondary accounts to see if we have more success?  

Like you said - it's a give and take.  I am having more luck - my KD is about .7 I think I am on level 12 or so, but like you said - you are also being paired with people just starting off, so not much help in that dept.  Not sure if I have gotten a win on that account yet.

Just not the way most of these battle royale game seem to be set up.  Seems like most are for 3-5 people for a team or huge teams like Titanfall where I think it was 100 in the arena, but 50/team and first team to X # of kills wins.  

You on xbox or PS4?

Nice.  We should maybe try those 2 accounts and see what the competition is like.   Seems worse than normal (ie tougher competition) lately on the other accounts.  Maybe it's the slow lockdowns and more people gaming now.

Xbox. I've been playing Fortnite for about a week or so, decided to try Apex as well. Gotta get a handle on it.

 
Lol.  You log off, very next game I get a squad wipe and 5 kill game for 3rd place.   Of course both my teammates left as soon as I took out the team, so i was solo the rest of the way.  

 
The game is very random. Get put in the right situation and get a handful of kills, or go multiple games with zero kills. Just not yet good enough to create our own kills and finish battles.  But we will be

Won't disagree there.    I just happen to get lucky enough to get a team that tried to revive each other instead of coming after me.   We were in Train yard in one of the buildings on the main level.  Knocked 1, took out 2nd teammate while he was trying to revive him, ran out and so I wasn't getting pinged, and caught the 3rd trying to revived one of the 2 fallen.   I was just more pissed that after all that and taking over an early kill leader spot, that I look and both my teammates were gone.

@Kal El Maybe I am speaking out of turn for flappy, but by all means add us.  Maybe we play with you with the secondary accounts.   It would be easier for you to learn if you are talking to others, and even if you are just learning, having a 3rd for us that isn't on the other side of the map or hiding would be a bonus too.  Win-win for all.
