Are Aliens Visiting Us? (1 Viewer)

WASHINGTON, D.C.

Congress talks UFOs, but no ET proof cited

Congress held its first hearing in half a century Tuesday on unidentified flying objects. And no, there is still no government confirmation of extraterrestrial life.

Testifying before a House Intelligence subcommittee, Pentagon officials did not disclose more information from their ongoing investigation of hundreds of unexplained sightings in the sky. But they said they had picked a director for a new task force to coordinate data collection efforts on what the government has officially labeled “unidentified aerial phenomena.”

Ronald Moultrie, the undersecretary of defense for intelligence, said the Pentagon was also trying to destigmatize the issue and encourage pilots and other military personnel to report anything unusual they see.

“We want to know what’s out there as much as you want to know what’s out there,” Moultrie told lawmakers, adding that he was a fan of science fiction himself. “We get the questions not just from you. We get it from family and we get

them night and day.”

Lawmakers from both parties say UFOs are a national security concern. Sightings of what appear to be aircraft flying without discernible means of propulsion have been reported near military bases and coastlines, raising the prospect that witnesses have spotted undiscovered or secret Chinese or Russian technology.

But the sightings are usually fleeting. Some appear for no more than an instant on camera — and then sometimes end up distorted by the camera lens. The U.S. government is believed to hold more technical information on the sightings that it has not disclosed publicly.

An interim report released by intelligence officials last year counted 144 sightings of aircraft or other devices apparently flying at mysterious speeds or trajectories. In all but one of the sightings investigated, there was too little information for investigators to even broadly characterize the nature of the incident.

Intelligence Officials Say U.S. Has Retrieved Craft of Non-Human Origin

UAP
A former intelligence official turned whistleblower has given Congress and the Intelligence Community Inspector General extensive classified information about deeply covert programs that he says possess retrieved intact and partially intact craft of non-human origin.

The information, he says, has been illegally withheld from Congress, and he filed a complaint alleging that he suffered illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures, reported here for the first time.
Other intelligence officials, both active and retired, with knowledge of these programs through their work in various agencies, have independently provided similar, corroborating information, both on and off the record.
The whistleblower, David Charles Grusch, 36, a decorated former combat officer in Afghanistan, is a veteran of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). He served as the reconnaissance office’s representative to the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force from 2019-2021. From late 2021 to July 2022, he was the NGA’s co-lead for UAP analysis and its representative to the task force.

This report today along with the report last week (pics and vid’s) from 50+ Marines at 29 Palms are nuts. Its an avalanche of evidence coming out and it’s picking up steam. Crazy times.

Did you watch that video? I personally don't understand how someone could watch that video and think flares weren't a really good explanation, let alone think "definitely not."
metabunk thread with more information that points to flares being the obvious explanation.

100% I watched the video, a couple times. That paired with the picture it’s pretty clear to me it’s not flares. But when you then add that to the fact no training exercise shooting flares has been reported, the fact that the 50+ marines who see flares every single day, know exactly what they look like, work on them and fire them up daily all say to a man they were absolutely not flares. I’m not sure how anyone can think they‘re flares.

Why is it that a country's military always finds these things and never a bunch of civilians? Doesn't that strike one as odd?
Well, that’s not completely true rock, civilians find this stuff all the time it just constantly gets dismissed as conspiracy, or Photoshop or untrustworthy sources, etc. etc.

But from a logic standpoint, if you’re viewing or observing a different species, their most advanced technology and organized fighting forces is probably what you would most be interested in. It’s significantly more interesting and informative about the species to observe that then Billy Joe and Bobby Sue farm in the fields.

How many military spotting have there really been? The tictac and the info around it drew me in to the topic

Oh, I meant about the whistleblower in the article linked upthread, who is saying that the United States and other governments find and hoard the technology to study it and maybe gain an asymmetrical warfare advantage.

I found that to be an odd claim.

I have no doubt the US or any other power would try to exploit anything found for military gain .
The past few years leading up could be the greatest story ever or greatest psyop ever

There’s been a ton. The tictac and all its surrounding info is basically off the west coast. There is the equivalent wealth of spottings off the east coast. There’s a ton of info about spottings over nuclear facilities, etc etc etc.
Honestly it’s crazy the amount of credible evidence it mind-blowing.

So you're telling me that aliens don't land on a planet where their kryptonite is the planet's most abundant resource and they randomly stand on rooftops for no apparent reason? If so, I got a bone to pick with M. Night Shamlyan.

I have no doubt the US or any other power would try to exploit anything found for military gain .

Of course they would. That wasn't my point. My point was that why is it always the government finding and aware of extraterrestrial crashes and burns or vacated equipment? With evidence this overwhelming, a citizen should have happened upon one of these at some point.

If aliens have overcome all the obstacles of physics needed for space travel of this magnitude AND have much longer lifespans than humans, what on earth are they going to gain from our military? They are light years ahead of us in technology. We're going to dazzle them with lasers?

I don’t think they would have anything to gain. It would simply be learning about the species. No different then if we could go back and observe Neanderthals, or the same as we do observing monkeys.

i mean, they could be here but be made of matter/particles/waves of different frequencies/characteristics than human beings are able to perceive...

That's fair. I'd also wager they saw enough of us and have moved on to better planets. I can't imagine we impressed them with our recent act across the globe.

Huh. The video said that there was "a big military exercise at that location on that night, with a lot of things in the air, including flares."

The video also suggests they were probably IR illumination flares rather than regular (brighter and shorter-lasting) illumination flares. I'm not going to pretend to know how often the people witnessing it live would see those kinds of flares, but I'd guess not close to daily. When they say they are definitely not flares, they probably have normal ones in mind. And they didn't know how far away they were, which can always cause confusion in perception.

And there were photos of flares from that night at that location that clearly matched the lights, only from a different perspective.

Seems like a pretty open and shut case to me.

Who is saying they are currently traveling in space ?

We are a zoo to them, imo

You're suggesting they've always been here? I don't get your question.

People leave the zoo after a few hours. You don't live at the zoo 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

sorry seems like we got our wires crossed. The video I thought you were referring to was the 8min video from the Marines of the UAP that night, not the two minute video from Mick West. I have now watched the Mick video. Since Mick released that video you posted, there has been a new weaponized podcast that addresses many of Mick‘s discussion points. Not all are is clear-cut as Mick likes to make it out. For example the training exercise that was happening that night was 25-30 miles away, not “in the area”, Mick also says that those flares he’s claiming they are typically last from 4 to 7 minutes in the sky. Well, that marine video is eight minutes alone and it starts and ends with the flare still up there. The Marine witness all also claimed that it was up there for 20 to 30 minutes. Etc etc. the rebuttal Weaponized is a good listen, I recommend it.
On another note regarding Mick West. He’s a well known “debunker“ who I find to be interesting and makes good points. But the irony is not lost on me that he closes the video you posted with saying we must always be open to all possibilities when viewing thing like this, yet he always seems to come to the same “debunking“ conclusion. Interesting.

I have no idea. I suppose they could've been here forever. Lots of interesting theories out there. The ocean aspect of this currently has my interest

I found this quote from Lue Elizondo last year interesting

Lue Elizondo: "Imagine everything you’ve been taught, whether it’s through Sunday school, or through regular, formal education in school, or what our political leaders have told us and yes, even maybe our mothers and fathers around the dinner table have told us or maybe at bedtime, about who we are, right? Our background and our past. What if all of that turned out to be not entirely accurate? In fact, the very history of our species, the meaning what it means to be a human being and our place in this Universe. What if all that is now in question? What if it turns out that a lot of the things that we thought were one way, aren’t. Are we prepared to have that honest question with ourselves? Are we prepared to recognize that we’re not at the top of the food chain, potentially? That we’re not the alpha predator, that we are maybe somewhere in the middle?

"What if it turns out that there’s another species that is even higher on that ladder than we are? Do we need the social institutions that we have today? Will we need governmental and religious organizations that we have today, if it turns out that there is something else or someone else that is technologically more advanced and perhaps, from an evolutionary perspective, more advanced? Have we been wasting our time, all this time? Or, are we doing exactly what we’re supposed to be doing? Does it turn out that mankind is in fact, just another animal in the zoo? Or…because we thought ourselves as a zookeeper before, but maybe we’re just another exhibit inside the zoo? What would that mean to us? So, when I say sombering and sobering, I mean that there’s gonna come a point in this conversation where we’re gonna have to do a lot of reconciling with ourselves, whatever that means, from whatever philosophical background you have. This is going to impact every single one of us the same and yet equally and yet differently. And I think that’s important. You know, do we find ourselves in a situation where history may have to be rewritten?"

Why is it that a country's military always finds these things and never a bunch of civilians? Doesn't that strike one as odd?
There are a lot of questions:

With all of the leaks we've seen over the years, how could the government/military possibly kept something like this a secret for so long?

Regarding the supposed capture of alien "pilots," why would an advanced intelligence (presumably capable of space travel well beyond what we understand) man their spaceships with actual beings rather than simply use drones, autopilot, etc.?

With all this visiting of planet Earth, why do we have nothing more than grainy photos and video of UAPs (even from the military), especially in this day and age of instant social media? Seems like there would be lots of opportunity to capture imagery better than what we've seen? If that better imagery exists and is voluminous, why hasn't something like that leaked?

Why does the U.S. military always seem to be "on it" when a supposed alien craft crashes? Even in other countries? How have third world countries who have trouble keeping the lights on been able to suppress evidence of supposed alien crashes?

I've been interested in UFOs since I was a kid, BTW.

From a logic standpoint:

What are the chances an alien race could even find us? I've been told the universe is kind of big.

If they did know we existed, why would they care to visit us, repeatedly and obviously I'm peace, but not communicate?

Military isn't the only one with telescopes either, fellas. No one else can spot these? 😱

Come on

So with our limited technology we are already able to find atmospheric matches...identifying is the easy part.

The more difficult part is actually getting there....right now traveling these distances is beyond our grasp of science, or theoretical at best.

"......mathematics leads you to a very scary conclusion: since there is only one real world, whereas the number of potential virtual worlds is infinite, the probability that you happen to inhabit the sole real world is almost zero." ~ Homo Deus, Yuval Noah Harari

Some member of some species somewhere in the universe is in his mom's basement playing an elaborate Sim City or Decentraland game that we are all just characters in. He'll decide when he introduces the aliens to humans. Hopefully he's got like a girlfriend and stuff and they've got good ganj on his planet so he's chill and makes the aliens play nice, as opposed to being a lonely incel jacked up on Four Loko who's just pissed off and is gonna have the aliens blow us all to ****.

This guy's Sapiens made tons of unsourced claims and a lot of things turned out to be patently false according to experts in the fields he was writing about. I mean, I liked the three chapters I read, but I was looking for sources. There weren't many.

The argument he advances about the sim life seem specious to me. I can't put my finger on exactly why the logic seems incorrect, but I'll bet if you examine it, you find a fallacy or at least weak inductive reasoning.

I'm not trying to rip on him. Anybody that can get me interested in total human history non-fiction and get me to actively think is good in my book. But it seems to me he has flaws as a historian and as a thinker.

But from a logic standpoint, if you’re viewing or observing a different species, their most advanced technology and organized fighting forces is probably what you would most be interested in. It’s significantly more interesting and informative about the species to observe that then Billy Joe and Bobby Sue farm in the fields.
Are you suggesting they would not be interested in getting high and watching the tube?

Not if they're Space Cowboys.

I have to believe that anyone thinking the government could keep anything that big a secret has never been in, or even around, government service.
This is always my retort to any conspiracy theory like aliens, Rothschild, NWO, Q, and similar such nonsense.

Wow. Comparing the UAP reports, pictures, videos and testimony of incredibly credible people all of which have so much evidence it required the creation of a whole new department of the government to Q. Again, wow.
