Yup, I love McKinnon this week too. The fact that the Packers will be up early does not worry me... Teddy loves to checkdown to his RB, and this week, that's McKinnon. Goal line carries might be McKinnon's too. He's a great RB2 this week in my opinion.

I do worry about McKinnon's hands, if there is one specific area he needs to work on in the offseason its catching. He could also work on his blocking technique, but at least he does a good job recognizing where pressure is coming from (as he should as a former QB).

I am playing Asiata over Booby Dixon (yes, that is what I was reduced to for my #2 RB).

Matt Asiata has been announced as the Vikings' Week 3 starter at running back.
We still think Jerick McKinnon will lead Minnesota's backfield in touches, but it's indicative of the faith the Vikings have in short-yardage plodder Asiata. He'll get the goal-line carries. McKinnon is a borderline RB2, Asiata a low-upside RB3.
