Assessing Reggie Bush's Value. People Overpaying? (1 Viewer)

:hijacked:

Bo's track marks were blazing but not world class level. Bo ran track at Auburn as a frosh and sophmore. His highest NCAA finish appears to be a ninth in the 60 meters as a soph. His 100 meter best was a 10.39 as a sophmore. link

Reggie Bush ran a 10.42 as a high school senior. He had the fastest California prep time that year. No other senior football player in the nation ran as fast. link

For reference, Michael Bennett owns the Wisconsin prep record at 10.33.

Bottom line, they're all damn fast. I don't mean to hype Reggie and wouldn't rank him with Bo as an overall prospect but he makes cuts at top end speed and plays as fast as anyone I've seen.

Bush will be overpayed for in most leagues. If he does indeed go to Houston he will be in a rbbc, and that will limit his production.

I have the number 2 pick in one league, and I have no desire to move up at all. If Bush falls to me, then yeah, good flex option, good future investment. If not, then there will likely be another very good rb that is drafted into a position to make an immediate fantasy impact.
this is the overhyped draft I guess.looks like people will gladly overpay for Bush, Leinart, VY..

Does everyone still love Bush as much as you did back in March?

I am drinking the Kool-Aid big time.

Just traded Maroney, Benson, Ward, 2007 2nd round pick

for

Bush, S.Moss, Delhomme, 2007 1st round pick.

All aboard the Bush train!!!!!

In our keeper league where we get to keep one player per position, the top 12 (more or less) RBs are already off the board. An offer of 1.5 and 1.11 was made for the 1.1.
