NDAs dont run forever ...
I sold my share to someone who's still in the biz, shopped this for a very long time and might still be, so i'm honoring that. Don't have a copy and we were waaaaaaaaaaaaaay wasted in an apartment across from famous drugpark Tompkins Square the whole time we wrote the thing so i cant speak to the quality, but the concept is still pretty strong 35 yrs later. Haven't followed that kind of programming closely but still haven't seen much of the animated alter-ego for a live character (used it myself in my only full-length comedy script - Morningside Heights, the Irish Annie Hall - a decade or so ago, didnt sell either) in a sitcom, so......

DISCLAIMER!!

i did not peek, nor Google, but ...

methinks 'Do Ya Think I'm Sexy' by Rod is hovering top 5 here, if not numero uno

have a very vivid memory tied to this part of early '79, and recall that ##### bastid of a song being as ubiquitous as 'My Sharona' would be some 4/5 months later.

Young man, there's a place you can go.  I said, young man, when you're short on your dough.  You can stay there, and I'm sure you will find many ways to have a good time.

any week in 79 had to have a beegee or three, and hopefully a nice helping of earth wind and fire. I'm guessing some other decent disco/funky songs as well... totally drawing blanks what those might be. did parliament hit to the top 40 this late... flashlight? earlier?

my juvenile am radio brain has all of that, plus rod stewarts "if ya think I'm sexy" along with that stones tune along with tom petty. can't remember when tom petty started hitting the charts... here?
