Nice throw to Driver. Jennings is 3rd receiver. Picked off by Hall but flag is thrown. Abraham offsides.

Free play.

Kampan looks good. Almost sacked Vick knocking him on his ###, but then Duckett picked up a lot of yards.

1st 2 targets by Vick to Jenkins. Both completed. Woodson covering Jenkins. 3rd target to White incomplete. Harris covering White.

4th attempt to backup Te Dwayne Blakey 22 yards TD!

Green Bays D looked like a sieve on the Falcons scoring drive.

Duckett knocks off a nice run.

Vick went to Jenkins a couple of times.

Tried to hit Roddy White on a mid-length pass, but the pass was poor, and the coverage was good. Could have been offensive pass interference.

Falcon TE (Not Crump) wide open over the middle on the 2 yard line. Falls down catchong the ball and rolls into the end zone.

Jennings didn't start as #2? Reports had him ahead of Ferguson on the depth chart.
On that play he didn't. Davenport looks powerful, moved the pile about 5 yards on one play.Ricocheted off Martin and Bubba Franks catches TD. Favre 5 for 5 on drive.

I'll say it again -- Do not fall asleep on Donald Driver and if people in your league do grab him. I don't care how bad this offense may be this season but Driver is going to be a very good WR1. Count on it.

For sure. Especially if the team is behind in garbage time.Either way I think he is a top 10-12 WR.

From the JSOnline Blog following the game...

SATURDAY, Aug. 19, 2006, 7:35 p.m.

Packers 7, Falcons 7

Packers: Franks, 3, pass from Favre (Rayner kick). Drive: 11 plays, 75 yards, 6:09.

Favre completed 6 of 6 passes, including a 3-yard touchdown pass that was tipped in the air by tight end David Martin and caught in the end zone by tight end Bubba Franks.

Favre finally got some time to operate behind his offensive line, and began to sizzle with a critical 13-yard pass to Driver on third down at the GB 37. Favre then found Greg Jennings over the middle for 16 yards - Favre's longest pass of the drive.

Favre stayed hot and hit Robert Ferguson for 7 yards, while Jimmy Williams of the Falcons was tagged with a face mask penalty and the Packers were in business at the ATL 12.

After a 9-yard pass to Driver, Franks reeled in the tipped pass in the end zone to tie the game.

DeAngelo Hall injured.

Looks like they're looking at his right leg, but they went to commercial.

Culver nabs interception

Rookie safety Tyrone Culver picked off by a poorly thrown pass from Vick, who was pressured in the pocket by safety Nick Collins.

The Packers have high hopes for Culver, who is playing tonight in place of Marviel Underwood, who is out for the season, and veteran Marquand Manuel (who has been sidelined by injury).

Is the GB offensive line playing better?
A little. Davenport is plowing for several yards more than going through large holes. Favre is doing more 3 steps drop and throws, but they look a little better.Atlants is pretty good though.Culver intercepts the pass. Nice play. In center field he breaks on the ball and catches it at its highest point.

That was an awful pass. He threw off his back foot with pressure in his face. Should have been throwing it away.

Looks like he's in shape. He ripped about a 17 yarder, but the Falcons line completely sealed the left side, and there was noone near him until he was >10 yards downfield.

Falcons defense (2nd string) looked pitiful on that drive. Davenport wide open for the TD.
2nd string? By the names I saw on the game update for tackles it didn't appear to be the 2nd string?Hartwell, Boley, Williams, and Webster?

Pathon exhibiting why he couldn't cut it in Indy or New Orleans. That guy is crap.

ETA: That pick was Pathons fault. Schaub hit him in stride, maybe just slightly behind him, but he bobbled it up in the air, and the defender snagged it and was gone.

At the half....Favre is 15 for 20, 134 yards with 2 TDs and 0 ints. :D :banned:

Driver has 7 receptions for 91 yards and Gado didn't get a carry.

Am I to think the GB DEF is actually playing pretty good?
Other than on the Falcons TD drive, they have looked solid. Flying to the ball, taking advantage of mistakes, getting some pressure.
If this is true they could be a sleeper def come playoff time. W14@SF...W15vsDET...W16vsMIN, nice to be on the tundra during December against 2 dome teams.

Ruvell or David?
David. He's been in on a lot of 2 TE sets. Haven't seen Ruvell yet.
grrr OK, coulda been a good sign if he played in the first halfHave Boerighter or Gardner played yet? If so how have they done?
