Falcons starting SLB Michael Boley left the game with 12:46 remaining in the first quarter with a left ankle injury. He walked off the field under his own power and was replaced in the game by veteran Ike Reese. Boley returned to the game on the next defensive series in the first quarter.

After spending a couple of minutes on the Lambeau turf, he left the field, albeit gingerly, under his own power. He did not return to the game.

Falcons PK Tony Yelk strained his quad late in the second quarter and did not play in the second half of the game.

At the half....Favre is 15 for 20, 134 yards with 2 TDs and 0 ints. :D :banned:Driver has 7 receptions for 91 yards and Gado didn't get a carry.
Neother has Ahman and in TC he has looked best running in the zone blocking system.
Huh? Green wasn't expected to play tonight :loco:
Loco? Up yours.
Do you realize how long Green has actually practiced in training camp this year? My point was that Gado hasn't seen any time yet tonight. Of course Green didn't have a carry tonight.

This guy is doing everything he can to not have a prayer of making the team.

Here's what Packer Insider columnist Cliff Christl had to say after the first half...: ""

With a 24-10 halftime lead, the Packers obviously looked much better than a week ago in San Diego. Brett Favre completed 15 of 20 passes in the first half for 134 yards. Donald Driver had seven receptions for 91 yards.

The interior offensive line, with new rookie starter Tony Moll, was solid in the passing game and opened more holes for the run. Moll appeared to get plenty of help on veteran tackle Rod Coleman, but the bottom line was that Favre was getting time to throw.

On defense, first-round pick A.J. Hawk showed a good burst to the ball on a run play and broke up a deep ball to backup tight end Dwayne Blakely. Rookie safety Tyrone Culver got burned early, but came back with a key interception. And Jason Horton scored on a 44-yard interception return off a dropped pass by an Atlanta receiver.

But keep this in mind. The Falcons didn’t play two of their three biggest offensive weapons: running back Warrick Dunn and tight end Alge Crumpler.

They also held out their best defensive player, linebacker Keith Brooking. And the Falcons lost their only solid corner, DeAngelo Hall, early with an injury.

So when the Packers ran 13 plays and covered 73 yards to score the go-ahead TD, the Falcons had their backup defensive line in the game and backup safeties.

Just caught part of the replay of this game on NFL Network.

I noticed they completely ignored the Tuck Rule in the Aaron Rodgers fumble. It was clear cut his arm was going forward and he had tucked it back into his body.

Man I hate that rule. It seems the only time refs call it is if there is challenge.
