Atlanta Without Bijan, London, and Pitts (1 Viewer)

Would they be any different? Jonnu is just as big, if not a bigger part of the offense as Pitts, London’s good but not featured, and Bijan’s in a timeshare with Allgeier and likely now Patterson.

If you removed the Falcons last three #1 picks, would this team really look much different or be worse off? None of them seem like key cogs in the offense. It seems like they should be, but none of them have been dominant at any point, unless we call Pitts’ one TD rookie season dominant.

If Pitts wasn’t there, some other TE/WR could produce his usual 3/35/0 type stat line. Without London, they could plug in some other WR to catch 5 passes for 60 yards and an occasional TD. Without Bijan, they’d just use Allgeier and Patterson, or some other rotational RB.

In hindsight, if this is the kind of offense they want to run, they could’ve just traded away their last three #1 picks and built up a dominant defense. Instead, they draft three supposed superstars and incorporate them like mid-round players.

Maybe the plan has been to load up around QB then next year get their QB of the future, but they’re somehow winning too many games for that to work out despite not really being any good. What the hell are they doing?

I think when they drafted the offensive players, they did so on the assumption that the QB they drafted would develop and become a good (or great) player.
obviously the plan went sideways as the QB they have is dicey at best.

they have two options..... continue and hope the guy they drafted eventually becomes a player.
or break it down and draft a new QB

I think it’s a great point - the positions the falcons focused on aren’t really priority positions at the spots they picked them, except for receiver one could argue.

They would be much better served drafting help on the lines. The Eagles consistently do this and it works for them.

2021: PS2 or Micah Parsons (Or Jamar Chase)
2022: Kyle Hamilton
2023: Jalen Carter

Theyd have a 2000's ravens caliber defense thats for damn sure
