Have Graham and Watson right now but thinking I might drop Watson and put ASJ straight into my lineup for this week
Yep. Starting ASJ in several leagues, mainly as a Reed replacement but also over Henry in a league or 2.Starting him this week over Teal Julius. Anyone else taking the plunge?
ASJ will get pretty much all the TE snaps now.The Jets declared QB Christian Hackenberg, TE Will Tye, RB Matt Forte, CB Derrick Jones, TE Jordan Leggett, OLB Josh Martin and T Brandon Shell inactive against the Jaguars in Week 4.
With Tye being a healthy scratch, that's a good sign this could be the week Austin Seferian-Jenkins gets it going. The Jaguars have been 29th against tight ends in PPR league so far, so give ASJ a look if you're looking to take a chance.
Austin Seferian-Jenkins is expected to get extra snaps with the Jets declaring Will Tye inactive.
Last week, Tye saw 22 snaps compared to ASJ's 48 and Neal Sterling also getting seven. With Tye gone, Seferian-Jenkin's snap share should be over the 76 percent from last week and he could have some extra targets going his way with Matt Forte (toe) out today. He's a solid streaming option for those with tight end concerns.
Wow... so it's basically rookies behind him now. ASJ now is a legit upside TE2 with TE1 potential, weekly floor of 4-5 based on volume.Jets waived TE Will Tye.
With Austin Seferian-Jenkins active and cooking, Tye was a healthy scratch for Week 4. The ex-Giant caught four passes in three games.
Here we go.ESPN New York expects the Jets to feature Austin Seferian-Jenkins in Week 5 against the Browns.
Seferian-Jenkins has been one of Josh McCown's top targets since returning from suspension. He played on 77 percent of snaps last week and should continue to see a bigger role. Seferian-Jenkins has blowup potential in a matchup with a Cleveland secondary that's allowed a league-high 31 receptions and four touchdowns to tight ends.
After losing eifert to suckage and injury I could really use that blow up game and he could be this year's gary barnidge. But better. Here we go.
I have Ertz who is up against the #3 TE Def, but I know I can't sit him. I am having a really tough time setting my lineup this week, in part because i want so bad to get ASJ in there. I am sitting Gore who has a great matchup, and sitting Crabtree coming off an injury with EJ at QB, (TE premium league) Gore could replace Howard, but I just don't feel good about it. So tough this week. Fantasy football is fun when you make the right choice, and so annoying when you make the wrong choice.Have Clay and will probably start him ...but damn I am so close to sticking ASJ in there before kick off. Clay has a tough match up with Cincy #4 against TEs ...
With three different reasons to boot.Reed, Henry, ASJ.
So much talent. So little production.
Welcome to my dynasty TE squad. Previously featuring Hernandez, Finley, and Gresham. With three different reasons to boot.
Same boat. At least his floor seems nice.Starting him because of Gronk. It's all right there for him to have a huge day. Which makes me believe he will just have the same kind of day he's been having. Just hoping he squeezes a TD in there.
6-65-1
Starting him over Witten. Have Eifert in 1 of 2 IR slots; would prefer to drop him outright if ASJ starts putting together good weeks.Have Clay and will probably start him ...but damn I am so close to sticking ASJ in there before kick off. Clay has a tough match up with Cincy #4 against TEs ...
Same hereHe’s had pretty good targets his first two weeks back (6 & 4). His great matchup this week means I’m starting him over Graham (11 & 6) who has a tough matchup.
Yeah but it's not about ASJ it's the dumpster fire that is the NYJ offense. You look at players like Brate that are not flashy but flat out produce vs. guys like ASJ or Ebron that jump out of the gym but always find a way to disappoint.
Right. The Jets overall offense is so bad and the QB play so bad that it is hard to judge ASF.Yeah but it's not about ASJ it's the dumpster fire that is the NYJ offense.
This. I've seen ASJ open more than once and McCown isn't getting the ball there.Yeah but it's not about ASJ it's the dumpster fire that is the NYJ offense.
Are we missing something???? He had complete control the entire time right?Wow I'm still shocked and dumbfounded by that call. Unreal.
That was about a 10 point swing for me too... From about +8 to - 2.Wow I'm still shocked and dumbfounded by that call. Unreal.
He bobbled it. Then regained control and touched the pylon. That's what it looked like to me at least. Are we missing something???? He had complete control the entire time right?
Tex
Horrible call!Absolute highway robbery.
There is no clear and concise evidence of a fumble and the ball out of bounds before recovery.
