Obviously he isn't the reason you lost. Guy is a stud. Even studs have off days. Especially DLinemen.'WFR said:

For sure Sprout. Case in point tonight against the Giants... Huge sack and forced fumble to clinch the game. Even with his off weeks, Babin is 3rd in the NFL in sacks and 5th in FBG's scoring.Jared Allen had an off week this week. As did Julius Peppers, Justin Smith, Charles Johnson, Trent Cole (by his standards), etc. And these are the elite at their position.Now if you are in a league that doesn't require you start a DL or if your league is so shallow you only start 1-2 IDP's, I can see not rostering Babin. But in any DL required league, Babin is a DL1 in virtually any scoring system. Off weeks included...

He would have put up 14 points in our scoring system last night.But, as you said, since we only start 1 IDP for each position (LB, DL, DB) there are more consistent options out there.
