Team in our league in a 3-way tie for first place overall, leading his division by one game. Playing the second place team in his division. He benches Adrian Peterson (yes, the good one) because he was facing the Steelers. He started Tim Hightower in his place. He lost by 6 points. Had he not made that switch he ties and retains first place. Now he loses (unless Cooley heals well and catches a td pass).

Benching an uninjured ADP. I am not sure I have ever seen such an obvious disdain for the never bench your studs theory.

I think it's a fine move...but not for Tim Hightower against the Giants on the road. I think it's the other half of the equation (who he actually started) that hurts.

Missed an 8 game parlay because Miami threw an INT with under 2 mins to play. Then fell a couple feet short of scoring a spread covering TD.

F me.

I picked up the Oakland Defense in 2 leagues after they looked decent Vs Philly and the Jets have been so bad on the west coast and that cost me losses in 2 leagues....

I freaking started the Oakland Defense... Against my Jets

SCREW YOU RICHARD SEYMOUR!!!!!!! LIAR!

Sunday morning swaped out V. Davis for Winslow :bag:

Our league has double headers and awards points for HTH wins and points for total points scored, I would have scored the max 8 points for the week instead 0 points :lmao:

Too much faith in Blooms projections, but he has helped far more than he has hurt me.

BENCHED Schaub for Hasselback last week after all the talk of the vaunted Cincin passing D and Seattle playing the soft Zona D.

:coffee:

With K. Smith on a bye and Sproles in his place for Sunday. I was up late Saturday night and saw Leon Washington was on our WW. Picked him up, started him and lost by 1 point   :whoosh:

The week of MSW's booty call.......I benched Brady for Garrard because their rankings were close and my opponent had MSW....I figured I'd cancel him out. Neither of us new about the suspension until it was too late...if I had I would have started Brady for sure.....I would have won had I done so. OVERMANAGING

Last year in the championship, I started Dan Orvslovsky (I can't even spell his name) in a dome against New Orleans instead of Matt Cassel in a blizzard against the Cardinals.

Let's just say that I didn't win the championship.

Dropped my kicker for Maroney as my RB2 and went kickerless. Figured Maroney vs TB D would get me more than Sproles (or Portis) plus a kicker would. Sproles goes for 17pts after doing next to nothing in each of his previous games, Maroney is crap. Thanks to my RB1 being Leon, I lost regardless, so I guess didn't really matter.

I guess I should be happy I went with my gut and didn't drop Sproles for a kicker on Sat.

Guy in my league dropped Palmer just before kickoff on Sunday and instead picked up and played Cassel. He still won despite the brain fart. Now Palmer is out on the ww and about to get scooped up by yours truly...

My problem is I follow FBG rankings to a T. Mostly because I'm too busy to do any of my own work. So I picked up Stover (Benched Kaeding), started Westbrook, and Chris Johnson over Benson, and Thomas Jones.

Thing is, I had a gut feeling about Benson, and the same feeling about Kaeding, but didn't go against FBG. Had them both in and out of my lineup all Sunday morning, before I finally succumbed to the "I don't have a clue" feeling and went with FBG.

I lost by 5pts.

The week of the New England blizzard game (last week?), at the last minute I benched Ray Rice (playing Minn) and started Sammy Morris instead.

They were ranked roughly equal by FBGs for that week, and I decided the blizzard conditions tipped the scales in Morris favor.

That was a good plan for one play.

I lost the game by less than Rice's points. I don't regret benching Rice so much - he had a tough game, hadn't really scored this season (TD heavy league), and you have players blow up on your bench sometimes.

But to leave those points on the bench, and then get only one play out of his replacement. Ugh.

That's the only blemish on my season so far, which really makes losing that game hurt.

I started out Sunday morning with Benson and Gore in my lineup. After reading MOP's RB's to exploit or avoid I switched out Benson for Steven Jackson. I lost by a point. Benson outscores Jackson by 8 points. I rarely second guess my initial instincts but in this case I did and it backfired on me.

Benched Brady and his 54 points against the Titans (it was snowing and windy after all....right) to play Hass at home against the 31st rated pass DEF of Arizona. That got me 2 points.

I thought it was only going to rain. When I flipped on the game and saw the snow I cussed myself out...until Q2. I would have beat myself that week.

Someone I know removed Brady and Moss from his lineup in all of his weekly contests on the Sunday morning of the New England blizzard game. The move cost him $6,000 (lost $2,000 instead of winning $4,000)!

Benched Favre for Garrard a few weeks ago in a TD-only league. Brett throws 3, Garrard zip, game lost. And, sadly, thinking about doing it again this week.
