Barrett Ruud, Sean Jones (1 Viewer)

John 14:6

Jesus is Lord!
With byes coming up, I'm going to have several decisions to make with my dynasty roster. I drafted Ruud and Jones and they haven't done much yet. I was expecting as much, but I'm wondering what people think of these two long term?I read somewhere that TB wants to make Ruud the starting ILB before the end of the season. I've also read that Jones should still have a bright future.Thoughts? TIA

Rudd may have to wait until next year for his chance at MLB unless Quarles gets hurt. Apparently the drafting of Rudd made Quarles a bit motivated, plus the fact he is comfortable this year with his forearm that was broken a couple years ago. I drafted him this year knowing I would get nothing at all from him until next.Jones is a guy that is difficult to read. With Crocker being there along with Pool it makes you wonder what will eventually happen with these three young guys. Something to keep in mind is that I believe Jones is only one year removed from an ACL injury. Both are young and have potential which is what you need on a dynasty team.

I drafted Ruud over Thurman knowing that Thurman would outproduce Ruud in the beginning because of the presence of Quarles. Ruud will be the better fantasy option over the longhaul. However, wasn't Quarles injured in this last game? And if so, where was Ruud?

Ruud should have been a guy you drafted for coming years, not this one. Even the best indications have been that he might take over by year's end, not right out of the gate. He'll kick it on my dynasty roster all year, grabbing pine next to Brodney Poole, in the hopes they show something in the next few years
