I'm here, I'm here. Scored a nice +2 units in the early games and placed a small parlay on the late games which hit, so I'm happy this morning.

Have a bunch of activities going on this morning, so playing a small parlay in the early games...

St Louis/LA Dodgers/Red Sox

1 unit to win 6.5

No real write up here.....St Louis is better than Houston. I don't mind Reyes starting for me. Clemens is old and I don't expect him to be dominant. Neither team has a great bullpen, but I think St Louis's offense is much better than Houston's should it come down to it.

Dodgers I've been riding, and will continue to do so. I don't really think SF is a good team  I look up and down their lineup and see a lot of so-so players or guys past their prime. I like LA's offense/defense and pitching.

Boston is a bit of a homer pick, but I like Beckett over Garcia enough to play it.

g'luck

on pit/philly over 9.5 for 4 units!- both starters are lousy, it is in philly, both offenses are due for big outings

also a parlay of

stl +127 - seems to me Reyes can keep STL in this one and Houston has had trouble scoring runs for the rocket;

Pittsburgh Pirates/Philadelphia Phillies Ov 9½ -110 for Game

Baltimore Orioles/Cleveland Indians Un 9 +100 for Game ( Sowers looked great last time out, Bedard has been coming around, CLE's offense is inconsistent and Balt's O is inconsistent, esp. on the road)

NY Mets Game # 2 -147 - like Pelfrey in his ML debut against an inferior FLA team ( I also think FLA wins game 1, but did not play it)

this parlay is to make 4.5 units; - GLTA

AB, I'm tailing your Pitt/Philly over 9.5 (+104) for 3 units. A bit more than I like to play on totals, but, I agree that both starters are awful, and I can easily see a 7-4, 8-3 type game here. g'luck

We needed some late inning runs - so frustrating sitting on 8 for the last few innings - Sorry :bag:

a couple of bad beats in here yesterday - prosposis losing with 13 runs in the 9th and pi/phil scoring 7 thru the first 3 innings, pounding out 18 hits for the game - and only scoring one more run the rest of the way;

TODAY IS A NEW DAY! - WHATCHA GOT?

all leans in a parlay to make 5.5 units:

Cincinnati Reds Money Line -135 for Game

Chicago Cubs/Milwaukee Brewers Ov 9 -105 for Game

Colorado Rockies Money Line -143 for Game

New York Yankees/Tampa Bay Devil Rays Ov 10½ -110 for Game

Chicago White Sox Money Line -127 for Game

Toronto Blue Jays Money Line -215 for Game

also on the NYY/TB over for 2 units

Well, I lost the over with AB on Phi/Pit game. Still thought it was a good bet though, them's the breaks.

However, I had a three team parlay hit last night....Yanks/SD/and the over in the Colorado/AZ game :bag: That hit made my night, considering it was worth 7+ units, and ummm, the game was 1-1 when I went to bed.

Was also drinking a bit, and started betting Italy a lot in the WC final today.....hopefully they'll pull threw.

Today, just a small parlay for now:

Over 10.5 NYY/TB

Over 9 SF/LAD

Toronto ML

Yankees and TB should be fairly high scoring hopefully they will not stop when they hit the bullpens. The SF/Dodgers game I see as the Giants tag Sele for a few runs early, and the Dodgers come storming back late.

A lot of good pitchers going today, but I don't like betting against the Rangers with Santana going, not touching the Schilling/Contreras matchup, but I will take Halladay against KC every day of the week, and twice on Sunday.

g'luck

nice parlay formation Pros' and thanks for the world cup play Guru!

I am thinking i may have to take carpenter tonight - STl just seems to have Houston's number!

I definitely am with you with St Louis, as you are getting Carpenter at a bargain price.....BUT, Houston is a very good home team and bound to show up one of these games, Petitte hasn't lost to Houston this year.....and I think with it being a Sunday before the all-star break, a few regulars on St Louis may be rested. That being said, I'm on the Cards tonight too, just a small play.

g'luck

Good to have a winning day. It has been a while. I am staying away from the night game.

I did put one unit on NL +130 for the all star game.

Ryan Howard to win the home run derby +300 for 2 units
Holy ####! I just won a lot of money here. I'm talking 600 bones  I cannot believe there is a happier mofo on the face of the earth right now :banned:
 What happened to the Germany (Ballack?) avatar?

Deutschland did'ya proud this WC...
Indeed, but we didn't win the whole thing. I thought this year's WC was awesome, save the finals. but I only put my avatar up for the WC.I won a lot of money this WC, so I'm not complaining, but I'm disapointed in Germany's finish. 2010 is so far away. I've been told I look like Ballack, so hopefully in 4 years we'll still be there.

Germany was the most impressive team of the tourney, IMO...They were one of far too few that looked to create offense, not just counter and cross the other team to death...They actually started 2 forwards! Imagine that...

You have a bright future, with Podolski and Klose up front...

Ballack's only 29, so he could easily be n the national team in 2010..

The biggest question might be in goal, as Lehman and Kahn are both 37...

I would love to discuss this all night long. Honestly. However, I don't think Germany was as impressive as they should have been. Klose and Podolski should be back. That midfield is outstanding. I love Frings, Ballack (obviously), and Shwiestinger (sp). Lamm is AWESOME, very underrated player. I don't worry about the goaltending, as Germany has a proud lineage of goalies. In fact, Lehman should be okay in 2010. I do worry about coaching though. I'd like to see Biefhoff take over. Anyway, this is a good side, and I'm happy.

and to think you needed 4 HR's with one out left in the first round to hit this!! - I am sitting on the NL to finish a parlay and frankly, there isn't enough at stake to make it worth hedging; Any opinion on tonight's tilt?
