Baseball Wagering (5 Viewers)

So Billingsley is going for the Dodgers tonight. This is the one guy I said to stay away from. While his record looks good, and even his ERA to boot, I've watched him slither off the hook a few times now. He has trouble throwing strikes and sooner or later, that's gonna come back to bite him.

Anyway, I think this is a spot that he is overvalued in...at home agains the Fish. This Sanchez kid is no slouch on paper, but I haven't seen him yet. ANYBODY? He has one bad outing which is inflating his ERA. In his last 6, he's given up 2 runs or less in 5 of them. Florida likes righties more, Dodgers like lefties more. Anyway, you get the picture...

I will probably play FLA, even with how much I am liking the Dodgers lately.

 
Another game that's piqued my interest is Boston again. I bet against Schilling at KC last out for the win, and I just think -140 is a bit high against Detroit. But I don't follow these two as closely so talk me off it, if you wish.

Last game of interest to me is Colorado. As I remarked a few days ago, they have two good pitchers (and that's about it). Well, Francis won last night, and tonight I like Jennings right back...he's been solid. The only apprehension I have with this is it's in Colorado, and I am a little miffed with the whole humidor thing up there. I said I wouldn't be playing games in Coors Field, but this will probably be the exception.

In 4 games since the scandal, 3 have hit the over. Last night was the under (sorry Leroy), but that could have been the pitching, who knows. Just too small of a sample. Still, I'll take Jennings over Batista, no problem.

Only thing I saw today was the Mets/Philly over, but I don't want to pay -125.

Will look for other leans from you guys, probably better off doing that anyways. :ph34r:

 
I just couldn't pull the trigger on Detroit...not sure why exactly, but it was down to +123, making it not-so appetizing.

So, in an interesting turn of events, I took Atlanta. They are both pigs, I know, but ASTACIO! Had to take Atlanta here (wanted 4:00 action).

Now, I sit with a bet on the Rockies (to get it back), and we are going to 15 knotted at 1-all!

Glad I did not take the Marlins...the kid looked good tonight for the Dodgers. :banned: I'm tellin' ya, they know how to win for a change. So long D-back and Padres fans! :bye:

I am afraid you may be right. LAD do look good and Dbacks just meh. It is close now and anything can happen though.
 
2 Units on Pittsburgh -110 today.

Caupano has struggled in Pittsburgh this year and last and hasn't been the same guy since before the All Star Game. Duke's coming off a good start his last trip out and is much better at home.

Nah, but Saturday, Opening day for EPL. Liverpool 0:3/4 -119 played @ 5u...ETA: it's at Anfield vs Sheffield U.

Thanks. And Jersey, it was NOT 10 runs when you posted, but it was only in the 4th...then we went @ 3 innings without runs...you know how it goes. :D
