Baskets - FX Tv Show (1 Viewer)

I loved Mama Baskets like most people did. I think I'd have little interest in watching a show where she was the main player. Sometimes, less is more. 

 
Renewed for a third season.

This thread deserves a bump.  I think it's been fantastic this season.  Louie Anderson is killing it. The humor/drama mix reminds me of some of the early seasons of Louie.

Winter season's had some decent TV - Taboo, Victoria, Feud's OK - but Baskets is pwning the medium right now. No one hates willful oblivion, customerism & feminization of culture more'n this ol' bird, but Mama Baskets is on the Rushmore of all three things and yet i love her Shakespeareanly

Still love the show.  Up there with Atlanta in terms of quality.

One of my favorite lines from his old stand up - "I'm sorry I'm up here sweating so much (as he's wiping his face with a hanky)

...but if I don't, I'll explode."

 
Still love the show. I thought I might get burned out on Mama Baskets with the huge amount of attention paid to her character this season, but I haven't at all.

But an attraction to Martha? :shock:

 
Not sure who is still watching but I liked S4. Funnier than S3 and still had heartfelt moments that moved the story forward. 

 
Huge fan, watched all 4 seasons, always was set in the DVR. Thought Louie Anderson was spot on, Zach got to play two characters, it was a great vehicle for the 2nd half of the 2010's decade and I wish there were more but I'm fine with the fact this show actually found an audience. Season 1 was special, Season 4 was good, not sure how I would rank them all but the rodeo theme as the family business was terrific. Christine Baskets was a much needed voice in TV shows. The show and it's fans should be proud.

I was a diehard fan the first two seasons but lost interest in Season 3 and didn't even know there was a Season 4. I guess the early Louis CK involvement didn't help but they did a poor job promoting it.    Wish it was on Netflix or HBO so it'd get more eyeballs.  Definitely deserves more recognition.
