You've got two QBs who really make this hard to predict. IMHO, Campbell > Koep., but honestly, it could be tough to call.Any trustworthy sites to get a feel for a winner? /other info. Not betting against the spread, but actually who wins the game.
could easily happenHoping for a 0-0 tie.
The bolded... ummm...I'm predicating a low scoring San Fran win as well.
Think Colin Kaepernick's better fill in to not loose
the game compared to Jason Campbell, an San Fran will
be the better rushing team and "need" the passing less.
That's just my eyeball observations, but I wouldn't feel
confident either way, was kinda hoping for an bit more in
the reassurance department of more solid predictions though.

If you want to say the 49ers have a better O-line, the advantage of playing at home and not having to travel, etc. I'm fine with that. QB is arguably the one area the Bears DO have an advtantage in.

Kaepernick has the advantage of there not being much tape on him, and the fact that all week everyone thought Smith would start. Kaep's game is very different from Smith so the Bears gameplan has to be affected. Also, the only thing Campbell's 71 games tells us is that we have enough of a sample size to know he's a terrible quaterback. The bolded... ummm...I'm predicating a low scoring San Fran win as well.

Campbell has really had a raw deal in the NFL. He's played for a run of teams with OL problems. He hasn't had the same offensive coordinator for more than a year or two...I think I remember reading he had like 11 OC's in 12 years of football going back to high school. He was honestly playing OK for Oakland until he got hurt, which led them to go get Palmer. I really think that Campbell was a guy who, if he was in the right system and given time to learn and actually have time to throw, could've performed at a solid level, and I'm a Redskins fan who watched him suffer for years. I think he could've been on-par with a Matt Hasselbeck type QB. He's got a little bit of mobility, and if you give him time, he can make throws. But when you get him flustered, he's bad. He will win you a few, but he wouldn't lose you too many. He could've been a solid QB on the right team.Unfortunately, he's in another situation where the "bad" Jason might come out facing the '9ers tough D, but that said, I don't think Campbell is a terrible QB. He's a QB who really never got a fair shot. I'm sure he's not the only one, but he's one.Kaepernick has the advantage of there not being much tape on him, and the fact that all week everyone thought Smith would start. I kind of agree on all this.Could be a slopfest with turnovers, question is whose. Game's in SF. I'm thinking the 9ers prevail if K'nick stays out of trouble like you said, runs for a couple key 1st downs, and the 9er D gets a couple picks off Campbell and shuts down Forte. What I was getting at is, to me Campbell is not very good, and has imploded on many an occasion. The bolded... ummm...I'm predicating a low scoring San Fran win as well.

Keapernick is there running QB who I'd expect to throw very
little so have less "opportunities" to get in trouble.
That was my thinking, not saying it was completely solid but
that was my rational behind the thoughts..

What is the record for defensive touchdowns?11 attempted9 madehttp://www.rauzulusstreet.com/football/nflrecords/teamfieldgoals.htmLet's go for it.What's the NFL record for most field goals in one game?
Funny, but I feel almost the exact opposite here. I think Campbell who's something like 70 NFL starts under his belt is a huge advantage vs. Koepernick making his 1st start ever. As long as Gore doesn't run wild - I like the Bears D to confuse the youngster and do what they do best (take the ball away from the opposing offense). At least SF has the homefield advantage, and it's never an easy task for a team to travel West across two or more time zones and play at night, so this will still probably be a close game. However, I like the Bears' chances. The 'cupcake schedule' is a bit overstated IMO. You can only play the teams on your schedule and the Bears have the best point differential in the league nine games into the season. They also have quality wins over Indy at home and the Cowboys on the road, and demolished the same Jaguars squad on the road that took the Texans to OT yesterday in Houston. Their only blemishes on the season are against two Super Bowl contenders in GB and Houston; Jay Cutler's concussion significantly impacted last week's loss and they still were in the game right up until the bitter end. However, its true that the Bears' schedule the rest of the way is populated by teams with winning records and playoff aspirations. You will get your chance to gauge Chicago based on matchups solely against playoff caliber teams from here on out if that's what you want.'TwinTurbo said:I think the problem for the Bears is that they were a one-dimensional team on offense even with Cutler. Now they have downgraded to Campbell. Against a poor D, he might be able to get away with locking onto Marshall every play. Forte only has 2 games over 100yds rushing this season, both against crap defenses. The Bears really benefited from a cupcake schedule through the first 9 games, but now they have to play another tough D in a prime time game for the second week in a row. Kaepernick might be an upgrade at QB from Smith. Campbell is definitely a downgrade from Cutler. I really like the 49ers here.
So Kaepernick's advantage is barely playing any in the NFL, which is affecting the Bears gameplan? Campbell's experience as a starter and being mediocre puts him at a disadvantage. Yes they were in the game with Houston until the end but only scored 6 points at home. Meanwhile the Jags put up 37 on the road against the same team. The Bears offense is simply not good even with Cutler. They have a great D, but I would argue they have the least talent on offense in the NFC North.Funny, but I feel almost the exact opposite here. Everyone has a stinker once in awhile, but good lord!Considering the five blocks of silly putty plus the non-existent TE option make up over 1/2 of the entire offense I don't have any problem with your argumentYes they were in the game with Houston until the end but only scored 6 points at home.
