Bears | Benson ready to go

Tue, 5 Sep 2006 04:51:51 -0700

Brad Biggs, of the Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears RB Cedric Benson (shoulder) said his left shoulder, partially dislocated more than a month ago, is fully healed and he's ready to face Green Bay for the first time. ''I don't know how much, or what they've got planned, but I'm going to expect to go,'' Benson said.

I would say he gets 10 carries against a weak GB D..

I would say Benson is a waste unless Jones gets hurt. :bye:

I disagree. IMO, If he's healthy, no way they don't test drive this kid opening day. He may sit more than he plays but he'll see the field for at least a couple of series. If for no other reason than to "rest" TJ.

I think Benson is going to be good... I like the way he runs and dont think he s an injury risk after seeing the way his knee bent last year and only missing a few games...

I see him making the most of his few carries this weekend..

i like benson's chances of getting most of the tds and yards after a few weeks but where should he be drafted at this point? i am hoping to get him in the 6th rd or later in a 10 team

I'm in a 10 team 3 keeper league. I got TJ in the 3rd (which is essentially the 6th), and I got Benson in the 5th (8th).
