Bernie Sanders campaign staffer promoting communism and violence, survey (1 Viewer)

Should Bernie Sanders denounce his campaign staffers who are calling for a communist revolution and

There is another thread that includes video of a Bernie Sanders staffer from Iowa discussing how the Bernie Nation will respond with violence if the DNC steals the nomination again. The communist revolution is here he claims and anyone who stands in the way must be dealt with.

Most every response in that thread is attacking the source or blaming Trump.

After the Iran debacle where a handful of posters were subtly defending a dead terrorist who killed Americans, it would be nice for FBG to go on record with their views rather than say one thing and deflect/deny later.

This is actually a survey long over due based on the general trend of this forum, and Joe would probably appreciate knowing exactly where you guys stand.

I assume you do not favor communism and violence, but based on many of the posts here that is a little unclear.

Set the record straight with your vote.

Background:

When asked for comment, Sanders aide doesn't deny the claims, replies that Iowans don't care

First video, Kyle Jurek saying Milwaukee will burn if Sanders is denied.

Second video, calls for violence, communist revolution

When the source is as bad as Project Veritas...it should be questioned.  You get that, right?

Seriously...how many times do his edited clips have to be wrong before that is admitted that he has no credibility?

No one here does. Please.

Socialism is not Communism. And one crazy Bernie staffer does not mean that he or his supporters are in favor of or are advocating violence (if you doubt that check out the Bernie thread).

And I didn't bother to participate in your so called "survey"

I try to at least believe in even if failing to follow the examples of the original apostles of Christ, just like any good Christian-

  • Acts 2:44-45: "All who believed were together and had all things in common; 45 they would sell their possessions and goods and distribute the proceeds to all, as any had need."
  • Acts 4:32-35: "Now the whole group of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed private ownership of any possessions, but everything they owned was held in common. ... 34 There was not a needy person among them, for as many as owned lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold. 35 They laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need."

All this news about Bernie's volunteers has caused me to totally forget that our president abused his control of government resources to cheat an election.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here (sarcasm) and openly assume the tweet about political gossip was not at all in reference to the staffer caught spouting idiotic thoughts but rather the events unfolding post debate Tuesday night involving Bernie and Warren

If someone did something criminal, report it to the police. If they arrest and can get a conviction (through legal avenues) then let the person enjoy part of his or her life in a prison cell (as per normal sentencing guidelines).

I don't think it's fair to conflate this one guy's views with the entire body of Sanders supporters.  That's not the drift I get from people supporting him at all.  But I'm sure the badfaith smear attacks would stop once he "denounced" this rando field organizer.

Socialism is the stepping stone to Communism -  Lenin, Marx and Engles.

Anyone supporting Communism should move to China for 2 years.  You will come back with a completely different perspective.   I can tell you that you are idiots.  Communism is a fallacy.  In reality it is no more than a different form of capitalism, but one where far less people have the ability to break out of their place in life.  Go see it firsthand.  You think you'll get college paid for?  Sure, if you are among the elite. You think you'll eat better?   Sure if you are among the elite.  You think you'll have better jobs?  Sure if you are among the elite.  You think you'll be able to speak your mind?  Not even if you are among the elite.

Who is supporting communism?

Look at the poll results at the top of this thread.  35% of the people responded Yes to "Do You Support Communism?"
A thread seemingly started by someone looking to agitate, with no real link to the claims actually being made by a staffer.  Id suggest many of the votes are not quite honest votes.  Especially when you read the commentary in the thread.
