Best MLB Player Ever NOT to win an MVP? (1 Viewer)

Scanning the top 100 BA leaders of all-time and the top home run hitters, I am hard-pressed to find a better player than Manny who has not won an MVP.

I guess the closest would be Eddie Matthews or Mel Ott, but I'm not sure how to compare them.

What say you?

I never realized Mike Piazza never won a MVP. does defense go that far in MVP voting?!? Kinda makes the Mauer arguement lose steam if the greatest offensive catcher ever did not win an MVP. Mikey even took the Mets to the WS in 2000.I can't believe he finished behind Ken Caminiti, Jeff Kent and Larry Walker. Really does lessen the importance of the MVP and it's voting.
