Best Monitoring apps for kids' cell phones? (1 Viewer)

I think I'm just going to wait until they get a job to help pay for a cellphone.  If you don't trust them with one, why give it to them?

Subscribe to this. I have seen teen safe as well. There are a number of other ones out there. Most interested in being able to monitor my son's DM's in Instagram. He does not have Snapchat or the Facebooks.

won't help when they are away, but I am getting Circle by Disney, its a special router that records your kids site views and it also give you parental controls and control over the wifi access to each device, allowing you to shut it down at any time.

re-visiting this, Teensafe is pretty good for monitoring web and text, but it is a huge PITA for iOS and requires continual re-authentication which often prompts a password reset on the appleID.  I finally have turned off two-factor authentication, which is supposed to help.

Trying a new service this week called Qustudio.  Nice things are: Can set total time usage limits and/or time-of-day blackouts when internet is disabled, shows a summary of total time usage and how much time each app was used, provides fairly granular web filtering, and sends alerts if there is questionable activity.  Downside with iPhone is that there is no call/text monitoring (they do have it for Android).  $54.95 for 1 year.  It would be almost perfect if they got iOS text monitoring.

Still looking for something that can really monitor instagram and snapchat.
