Best song titled with a woman's first name (2 Viewers)

I'm not dumb, but I can't understand this.
"Lola" is a song written by Ray Davies and performed by The Kinks. The song details a romantic encounter between a young man and a possible transvestite or transgender person he meets in a club in Soho, London, with the narrator describing his confusion towards a person named Lola who "walked like a woman and talked like a man".
This seems mixed up, muddled up, or perhaps shook up.
But I know what I am, and I know I'm a man, and so is Lola ...

Great song.
But technically Lola is a woman's name, and the thread title calls for songs titled with a woman's first name...it says nothing about what the song has to be about. So, Lola qualifies here.

"A Woman's Name"

It's a dude named Lola so it does not count.

How does that make it not a woman's name? Is Melissa not a woman's name if I can find a man named that?

Sure it does. The title doesn't say a woman's name about a woman with the same name. Its a woman's name...which is why the guy in the song goes by it - if he called himself Larry, I don't think the guy singing would have been fooled.
