Best TD this Week (1 Viewer)

I have only been looking at the highlights on NFL.com this week but the Ginn TD had me watching it repeatedly

Dunno why maybe i didnt expect that from him but that TD stood out for some reason. 2 defenders all over him and at the back of the endzone

very pleasing for me

what have you guys got?

Blackmon's punt return td was pretty nice. I could have done without AP's td run though. That put me behind pretty far.

Roddy White's TD catch. Matty Ice made a perfect throw.

Or the Drew Brees hail mary TD throw to Lance Moore. The last hail mary I remember being caught was Warner to Fitz last year.

Blackmon's punt return. I still don't know how he found his way into the endzone.

DeAngelo Williams' TD run was also fun to watch.

Peterson gets my vote here. I'm sure you'll be seeing it on NFL replay if you missed it. He really made up for coming up short on that 4th down. Go AD!

There were some great TDs this week. They've already been mentioned, but:

AP (situation of the game and quality of the run and drive)

Ginn (just a sensational catch)

Chester (man, did he accelerate from a dead stop)

Rhodes (perfect pass from Peyton)

DeWill (had a bit of everything mixed in)

Wayne (just plain silly)

Blackmon (no way he should have scored)

Great post and this would be great as a weekly ***official best TD thread*** . If I don't see it posted by you next week, I'm gonna put it up myself

Tough to decide between Thomas Jones' 3 or Cutler's 3...oh what the hell I LOVED THEM ALL. Won a crucial game and got high points for week.

Eddie Royal's 93 yarder was fun - thats a rarity.

Ronnie Brown's TD run was sweet too. Nice cut, speed, and power all in one 16 yard run.

Ginn's catch was awesome. Perfect throw against tight coverage and great concentration by Ginn.

Peterson's TD was the best this week. He ran that ball to the endzone like his life depended on it.

Tony Gonzalez's 1st TD showed a lot of guts, too. He made nothing into something.

Peterson's TD was greatness. He was seething on that drive, would not be denied.
Agreed. And it has nothing to do with me being a Vikings fan!
Another vote for AD here. He was a man possessed who took his team on his shoulders and carried them to victory over their bitter division rivals, signaling a changing of the guard atop the NFC North.AD's performance on that last drive was reminiscent of Michael Jordan taking over a game and willing his team to victory. Amazing... :wall:

:( :goodposting: plus his celebration was pretty awesome. you could tell how bad he wanted it.

Vernon Davis of all people made a great TD catch tonight. Course he followed it up with a 15-yarder for taking off his helmet.

Some of this AD carried his team to victory chatter is interesting considering the Packers still should've won the game with a last-second FG.

Yep....he put the team and the coaching staff on his shoulders in the second half and said "giddy-up....let's go!" He wanted the end zone BADLY on that last drive, and to see him get it was amazing (whether the Pack would have made that field goal or not). He is a special, special player. I just hope he can stay healthy, so ten years from now he's re-writing a good portion of those record books. :(

one other I liked was Tony Gonzalez' TD at the end of the game. it looked like there was no room for the ball to get through
This play ultimately ended up beating me in a league and I have to say I also agree. Was a 4th down play, you knew he was getting the ball, he was drilled in there, ball bouncing around and to no surprise, Tony Gonzalez gets another TD. Great, great play.
