Hell yeah!!
They do, but they have very little depth. Guys are gonna have to play a ton of minutes. But they have their Danny Manning in Trace.I really like this Indiana team. I think they have a great shot as a F4 team.
Will be really interesting if Xavier Johnson is able to come back and re-integrate. Probably their best on-ball defender, but Hood-Schifino isn't giving up the starting PG role at this point.I really like this Indiana team. I think they have a great shot as a F4 team.
Wasn't that Galloway that tried to slam dunk on Edey? Didn't quite work out, but that takes some major cojones to try. Will be really interesting if Xavier Johnson is able to come back and re-integrate. Also, Trey Galloway plays like his (glorious) hair is on fire
Good win for the Terps. 1st half was insane with both teams throwing haymakers. NW kind of fell apart in the 2nd.MD/NW playing like it's the end of the world for the loser.
Xavier at this point is just depth and energy boost if he makes it back. Find a rotation that you can have him come in and play defense like a beast. Trey has also gotten good at running point with Xavier out. Will be really interesting if Xavier Johnson is able to come back and re-integrate. Xavier is great at times but he gets way too spastic, plays way too fast a lot. Been really apparent comparing to how smooth JHS plays.
Yep. Xavier is like found money at this point and he needs to be good with that role. He seems like a great team guy so hopefully there is no drama.Xavier at this point is just depth and energy boost if he makes it back. The luxury Indiana has moving forward is they can easily insert or remove Xavier once he is ready depending on which version of him they are getting any given game/half. That wasn't really something they could do last year.
Was a hell of a shot Dickinson hit to send it to OT. UM separating now down the stretch.Well, maybe I prematurely adjudicated.

Gard is not a good coach. As Lappas pointed out, have to wonder why WI didn't foul at the end of regulation.

Little bit of a hangover from the Purdue game, plus IU struggles with quick guards, plus they've had several games where they started out slow with little defensive intensity. So didn’t see Iowa beating the hell out of IU at Assembly Hall coming.
You love to see it...So didn’t see Iowa beating the hell out of IU at Assembly Hall coming.
I still really like their F4 chancesLittle bit of a hangover from the Purdue game, plus IU struggles with quick guards, plus they've had several games where they started out slow with little defensive intensity. So didn’t see Iowa beating the hell out of IU at Assembly Hall coming.

Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk
UM's problem is their Q1 record. They almost certainly need to win 1 if not both of these last two games to be considered for the tourney.
Right now Lunardi has them in the First Four Out column. Wisky is in the Last Four In column.
When they're playing well, they can beat just about anybody but IDK if they can go 4+ games without a stinker. Hope so, though.I still really like their F4 chancesLittle bit of a hangover from the Purdue game, plus IU struggles with quick guards, plus they've had several games where they started out slow with little defensive intensity. So didn’t see Iowa beating the hell out of IU at Assembly Hall coming.
They seemed to have righted the ship somewhat, but yea their early season situation didn't help them for sure. I think they have a good shot to make it if they take care of business. They're rolling pretty well right now. McDaniel has been outstanding.UM's problem is their Q1 record. Losing to Central Michigan didn't help either.
Yea. I figure they need a win this week and then at least one in the tournament. But they will probably screw it up. And then Jett and Kobe will go to the NBA. And we will be starting over again next year. #sigh
UCLA may knock them off Lunadis 1 line with a win tonightPurdue is playing terrible. Another late season collapse. They won’t make it out of the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament![]()
I'm not bothering with the Chicago matchup scenarios, but win at Indiana and there's a path.Well, NIT it is for Michigan.
Rutgers was up 70-60 with 1:15 left and lost by 1 in regulation.

That went swimminglyMaryland, win a road game tonight. Please?
Although if I had to pick between the road games at OSU and PSU...That went swimminglyMaryland, win a road game tonight. Please?![]()
I remember in 96 or 97, Michigan at Illinois, our group of 20 or so started a "NIT" chant during a run in the second half that got picked up by entire Assembly Hall crowd. Watching this game brought back those memories. I wish I could still sit in the front row seats I had in Grad School. From hard camera, I was the 4th person to the right of mid court. Feet were on the floor. Could hear the players talking to the refs during the game.... Now I watch it on DVR after getting my kids to sleep.Well, NIT it is for Michigan.
