Bitcoin-Explain to me how to buy these things (4 Viewers)

Coinbase WALLET

FYI, been trying to convert for an hour.  tried eth and CRO, at first, it said I didnt have enough ETH for the fees.

Deposited $500 into ETH to cover.

Now it gives an error of :unable to determine fee, please try again later.

Coinbase is fine for moving $$$, but I do not recommend their wallet.

I converted $5000 Ada to Eth in Coinbase then moved to Coinbase wallet.  It took 3 days and by the time it ended up in my wallet account it was $4500.  Lame

Sick of it!

So, what I just did was click on SEND, then I scanned the QR code for my metamask and moved it over there.  took 2 seconds, but had to pay gas of course.

ended up adding it to my hex.  $.22 as of right now

If you told me I'd make 30k today on Saitama the day I bought, I would have been pleased. Well, I bailed today (3am) at 35k in gains and I'm sad. It was 114k at one point. Also, I used Hong Kong based LBank CEX where Saita is paired to Tether. It was seemless and the tether quickly moved to my ledger. So, I have 35k in a stable coin. Sigh.

Yep, the psychology of this game is the most difficult part.  Fortunately, the "would, coulda, shoulda" part will soon be forgotten and you'll have made a quick $35K.

It was a tough tough decision. Ther term paper hands kept running through my mind. It may be a helluva sweet dip to buy. They had a goal of 200k holders a few days ago and crushed it. Currently 240k. The twitter pimping/pumping is going strong. The potential is still huge.

I sold because of some sh**** fud flown out by CoinMarketCap. They dug up an old legal problem regarding crypto-fraud one of the founders suffered. It was a 4 year old story cmc didn't date. The fraud was just an honest mistake. The fine $1000. But it contributed to the falling price. Dirty business. Worse though is the project's whales have been sell sell selling. Even the creep on twitter telling everyone to buy buy buy. Meh, I'll sleep better with the usdt.

wow. Cannot get back into my old Binance.com acct. Tried setting up a Binance.US acct and:

“Restricted States” means Connecticut (CT), Hawaii (HI), Idaho (ID), Louisiana (LA), New York (NY), Texas (TX), and Vermont (VT). The list of Restricted States is subject to change at any time. In the event a state becomes a Restricted State, BAM will provide users residing in that state with notice via email, a notification on the Website, or other means deemed necessary regarding their access to the Services.

WTF. Why would states be restricted?!  On hold with chat support to try and get my damn funds out of old Binance. :wall:

ETA: They activated my old account to withdraw for 7 days. Whew.

Why is the US so behind on this stuff?  What a broken system.

The one month chart of my portfolio on Coinbase is a thing of beauty.
I only look when I know it's going up.  On weeks like this I try to focus on other things or find sales on stuff I've been thinking to buy.

$WILD is crushing it.  I personally think this is a better play than MANA and SAND given its market cap.  I'm not suggesting anyone FOMO in now because it's already pumped, but keep it on your radar for when money exits the metaverse plays and prices settle down a bit.

Also, for anyone wanting to get involved in NFTs, they have a Wilder Wheels car collection that you'll be able to drive around and race within their metaverse.  Current floor is 0.368 ETH.  I don't expect it to stay that low once things go live in a few weeks.

Put my 30k+ usdt into Immutable X $IMX @ 5.92.

I've been waiting on it. Everyone pounding Veve drops has been waiting on it.

There it is @Nathan R. Jessep. Ecomi listed. So is ILV Cranks. This means NO GAS for nfts on ethereum. And an open market place for Nathan and I for our Veve collections. Also the way to cash out that has been humorously missing on Ecomi. I'm not expert on Immutable and I'm sure we have to wait some, but this project should be huge. I'll stake after I've done more reading.

Immutable X is the first layer-2 scaling solution for NFTs on Ethereum, with instant trade confirmation, massive scalability (up to 9,000+ trades per second), zero gas fees — without compromising user custody. The protocol is built on top of StarkWare’s proving technology, which allows users to retain access to Ethereum’s ecosystem and network effects.

IMX is an ERC-20 utility token for the Immutable X protocol that is designed to drive the adoption of NFTs and help creators, players and developers reimagine value in a digital ecosystem. It will be used for:

Staking to earn rewards.

Gas-free and instant trades

Self-custody for NFTs.

A true Layer-2 secured by Ethereum.

NFTs that are carbon neutral.

There’s a hard cap of 20 million IMX tokens.

Yeah...I like this play.  They've still got some growing pains and their marketplace infrastructure isn't quite up to speed with the Ethereum counterparts, but they'll get there.  The Doge Pound had their Halloween mint on IMX so big brands on ETH are already branching out.  I think the biggest thing they have coming down the pipeline is Tik Tok.  That is going to bring a whole new wave of participants to the NFT market.

I'm down to 1 coin left. ZeroX (0x). BitForex apparently doesn't handle it, and the price is JUST above the threshold so Binance won't allow me to convert to BNB.  Any other reputable exchange that will accept a transfer of 0x?

People are definitely not afraid of this current dip (yet?).  Every time it dips more it gets bought up.  The alts aren't really suffering any more than BTC/ETH and in some cases even less.

I've been shopping some, but was hoping for some better deals.  Still have a good chunk of cash I've dedicated for metaverse/dao/nodes/memes ready to deploy if we get some more weakness.

cc: @Chaos Commish

you guys have IMX tokens? Was just about to buy some OMI with my transferred assets. But perhaps I'll split between OMI and IMX

Yea I figured when Eth went under 4k we’d get a steep drop. Nice to see it hold.

A couple other "lower cap gems" in the metaverse segment are SUPER and EFI.  Efinity is Enjin's (ENJ) metaverse play being built on the Polkadot ecosystem.  SUPER is a gaming and NFT launchpad co-founded by Ellio Wainman, a crypto influencer and co-developer of the Neo Tokyo community with Alex Becker.  These dudes aren't effing around

"People need to stop thinking in TODAYS 6 and 7 figures and think of the 8 and 9 and even 10 figure moves coming in gaming crypto. The metaverse will make more billionaires than social media."

next question.. does BitForex not support withdraw to bank account? Assuming that is the case since a search has yielded nada, I have to convert a token to something that Coinbase has then send it over and withdraw from there? Or is there a simpler way?

I just moved a pretty big chunk form stocks and want to put it into CRO.

CRO in the 40s, done!  But we're at like 56.

To wait for a hopeful dip or not.  Hmmm

CRO - +18.64%

BAT - +16.78%

SHIB - + 12.81%

XRP - +5.79%

HEX - down to .20

24 hours

good day  :suds:

Alright, been reading crazy stuff on how Ethereum is the crypto to buy and that it will be the next big thing, even better than Bitcoin.

I'm just getting into the crypto game and have purchased a small amount of ETHE on venmo/ Paypal. Do you guys recommend buying any other crypto and where crypto.com?  Coinbase?

Thoughts on The Graph?

ETH is the perfect step 1 IMO.  Easy to buy, Id bet a million it will go up.

step one, when im helping my friends is to get them to buy ETH.  you can also buy BTC, and lots of others with a app like crypto.com or coinbase.

Step 2 is more complicated.  let us know when you see something you want to buy, can its not avail on those platforms.

Okay I'm looking at getting a hardware wallet but have a few questions.

1) Main thing I'm looking to do is protect my metamask account.  As I venture further into the dark pits of DeFi I'm connecting my metamask to some shadier and shadier projects.  As I understand it, if I'm using a hardware wallet with my metamask, those websites should be able to steal any of my stuff if I connect to them and they're a scam, right?

2) I notoriously lose important stuff.  If I lose my hardware wallet, as I understand it all I have to do is get a new one and import it onto that via my seed phrase, right?  The same way I would import my metamask with the seed phrase when I download the extension on a new computer or browser?  I'm trying to figure out how vulnerable I am to losing my assets just by losing stuff, rather than being hacked.

I have no idea how to answer the shady stuff question.  I would need more info, but NEVER EVER give way your meta mask info.

Even if you "notoriously" lose ####.  dont.  grow up when it come to this.

Buy a laptop  that is only for $$$ stuff and surf porn somewhere else.
