Bitcoin-Explain to me how to buy these things (1 Viewer)

I'm assuming HEX is up for the PlsX sacrifice.  You sacrificing any for that @KGB?

I didn't get in on the PLS sacrifice.  I've gotten kinda bearish on HEX longterm so I was thinking about sacrificing some here for PlsX.

To be honest, I cant give a good recommendation.  Ive been very busy with day to day business stuff.

My guy who got me into crypto/hex and is now a multimillionare from it, is putting some in, but not nearly as much as the pulsechain sacrifice.  but thats due to cash limitations.

Im so far behind right now. im not even sure when the sacrifice starts for the new one.  As an example, I think Im going to go $5K on the new one and im in for $26K on the original pulsechain sacrifice.

But I am VARY out of the loop right now.  I should be able to catch up this week

 
About 20% of my Matic hit its target this morning.  For the first time in a long time I'm unsure about my next move.  

I still like XLM, despite my screw up.  Transactions move almost instantly and cost next to nothing.  

I like LINK too.  If you use the logic that these alts will at the very least retrace back to previous ATH's then XLM is a steal right now at .27.

I'm hoping to sell more MATIC if it gets to $2.75.

Also having all my interest in Blockfi paid out in LINK going forward.

Dropped some money into a couple pseudo delta neutral farms - at the moment with 300% and 200% APRs.  Like a straddle one hopes for a consistent price as anything off of the initial ratio degrades the return (though it's pretty slight from -50% to 50%).  These kind of numbers for an investment that's pretty insensitive to delta is quite appealing.   Still have token and smart contract risks.  A decent calculator to play with this.

Hex had a nice day yesterday and I used that

Also, moved my ETH back into HEX for the snapshot that I dont know when is going to happen.

 
A couple tidbits from my reading today.  Options expiry is tomorrow - a massive one.  Max pain point is 48k, so let's see how close we get by 4pm.

Also, the Chinese crypto ban goes into effect January 1, so there is a good bit of selling pressure as that is getting converted to fiat.

Good chance of a general bump in early January.

 
Help me out here, been trying to use Coinbase Wallet to buy some of these stupid coins and get a “not enough ETH to cover miner fees, please deposit xxxxxxxx ETH” message every time whether it’s $1 or more. I’ve deposited more ETH into the account to cover fee but it never lets transaction go through. Wtf?

And HEX is down huge.  Oh well, staked it for 6 months

How much ETH do you have and does it give you an estimate of gas?

$96, trying to just do $1 and give me’s the message. Doesn’t show fees just tells me I need to deposit .00558276 ETH to cover fees. I have more than that in the account but it stops it every time. % changes depending on how much I’m trying to convert but you get the idea.

Yeah...you don't have enough gas to cover the max amount it's estimating it could be.  You could be trying to swap $1 or $1,000, the gas to do the swap will be the same and unfortunately it's gross and isn't built to do small $ transactions like this.

So that wallet is worthless to me then. Any suggestions on something that works for the low dollar player?

 
So I found a hardware wallet when going through clearing out a closet that my wife did not think has anything on it. We have both the recovery seed phrase and the pin, but it was really a PITA getting it connected to the Ledger Live app since it is an older model and needed firmware updates. Had to restore it a couple of times and try out a bunch of different cables.

Finally got it running after trying various things to find a grand total of 2.17 LPT tokens worth $90 that were transferred to her wallet sometime after she had stopped using it. At least there was some reward for going through all this :lol:

 
Aped into my first coin - hopefully a no####coin.  Picked up a bunch of DUSK.  It has risen dramatically, but the technology it's based on, zero  knowledge proofs, looks to be something that will be folded into the cryptoverse in a big way.  

It's a technology gamble - we'll see how it turns out.  At least a 1 year hold here.

ETA:  Big airdrop planned for DefiKingdoms as they ready for their AVAX expansion with snapshots starting tomorrow.  Staking in the bank and in the LPs counts, as does JEWEL owned on the AVAX network.

I'm maximizing my holdings here, but not stretching too much - price of JEWEL is exploding right now after this announcement.

I use Kucoin extensively.  Shoot stuff in, convert to something else, and then back out.  They support a lot of native networks, which is hugely helpful.  Coinbase is ERC20 only, which is hugely limiting.
