Boasting Thread (1 Viewer)

Crumpler, Des Clark,

Rotate Kicker

Denver D

the people that are complaining are just bad ff players, probably sitting on 1-7 or 0-8 most likely and looking forward to the #1 pick in next years draft

These threads are so useless. If you had a good, but not great team, then posters will doubt your record. If your team is awesome, then you'll be accussed of playing fantasy with your kids or being in a six team league.

I am bold enough to say I am going to win mine. I just don't see who is going to beat me down the stretch. 10 team ppr league High performance scoring 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 DefQB - Brady (Hasslebeck)RB - Rudi Johnson (Willis McGaheeRB - Shaun AlexanderWR - Terrell Owens (Roy Williams)WR - Reggie WayneWR - Andre JohnsonTE - Dez ClarkK - Robbie GouldD - Rotates depending on match-ups and availability.I just don't see myself losing unless I get unlucky which can always happen. Currently 6-2
my main dynasty league is a 10 team league in its 9th year. I am 8-0 and have been here before. I have gone 12-1 and 10-3 in past years but did not win it all. I am hoping my good luck continues in weeks 15 and 16

Ummm.....noPlease inform me of the value this type of thread brings to anyone?
it is a way that people that visit the message board can see the success you are having and then they may think hmmm maybe its because of FBGs maybe i should sign up...yep thats how a post like this could be beneficial to the board...and if someone adds and i drafted X because of FBGs its like a free endorsement for FBGs

6 pts ALL TD, 1 pt/10/10/20...must have 3 QB, 5RB, 6WR, 2TE, 2PK, 2Def/ST...no more no less.QB D. McNabb...5.03, M.Vick...keeper, Tony Romo...WWRB Larry Johnson...keeper, LaDainian Tomlinson 1.03...Peyton went 1.01 Shaun 1.02, Tatum Bell...7.03, Kevan Barlow...10.08, Michael Turner...WWWR Torry Holt...2.08, Reggie Wayne 3.03, Lee Evans 6.08, Donald Driver...traded for, Greg Jennings...WW, Doug Gabriel...WWTE Ben Watson...11.03, Jason Witten 9.03PK Nate Kaeding...18.08, David Akers...WWDef/ST Dallas...17.03, Kansas City...WWMcNabb, LJ, and LT is a lethal trio and usually I win from that backfield on its own. But you add Holt, Wayne, and Driver into the mix...it's just not fair. Our 6th round is a potential keeper pick every year, max 3 keepers going into the draft. Just hope to stay hot thru the playoffs.
Wow, you kept Vick and some moron threw LT back into the pool.Great stuff here.
No Scupper, only the 6th round of our draft is a potential keeper pick. I got LJ when he was a rookie and no one thought much of it. I have had a rough couple of seasons but I usually take my 6th round pick seriously and it has paid off this year...that and the moron taking Peyton Manning with the #1 pick...he is 6-2 though, maybe he should be posting in here too.

Ridiculous... I've seen totally stacked Keeper teams get beaten and/or hit injuries....

I hope I don't have the same players as you guy's have.

Bad Kharma in this thread.

:stirspot:

These are the most annoying threads. Do you really get off posting your "Great Team"? Well I'll bite, Wow that is an unbelievable team. You are the bomb dude!! Wish I could assemble at team like that. Really something special. I'm assuming you were picked last as a kid in all the pick up games....

Scored 238 points, by far a new record in my league. Had Plaxico and Kjones on my bench. Vick 40 LT 56FWP 28Wayne 39CJ 16Colston 37Heap 10Kaeding 8Falcons 4In our league we get double TD points for opposites- a Rb receiving TD, QB rushing TD, etc. , long TD bonuses as well.
Congrats on your high score but that may be the most fd up scoring systems I have ever seen.

WOW.....up by 10 going into tonight and realized my opponent started Ladell Betts. So, if he dropped Ladell Betts before tonight's game, he could have picked up a RB and replaced him. Knowing that, I went on a limb and picked up Mewelde Moore early this afternoon so he couldn't utilize him. That just saved me a victory.

Go pick on the people in the venting thread.

League average scoring is about 50-55pts per week. I scored 94 this week and another guy scored 102.

So, 2nd high score of the season. Thank GOD I wasnt playing the guy that scored 102.

6-2, feeling pretty good, but not feeling good about Brady vs the Colts next week.

Ummm.....noPlease inform me of the value this type of thread brings to anyone?
They are mildly entertaining.I don't understand why people get their panties in a wad over this ####. This is a boasting thread (pinned no less). These threads have about as much value as those that consist of people bragging about their favorite NFL team's latest win (WHICH THEY HAD ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH).

Actually these quotes are from another thread that was merged into this one. Ive got no problem with using the official boasting thread. Its multiple boasting threads that are unnecessary.

Atlanta's atop their division, tied with a team that has lost their completely unfair homefield advantage. ...
Unfair ? Quit your  . The only difference between our Dome and yours is that we don't sell all our tickets to visiting team fans. Good grief, it looked and sounded like a Pittsburgh home game in the Georgia dome week before last.
