Boldin out 3-4 weeks (1 Viewer)

Last I heard the surgeon said "a hockey player played 10 days after surgey"Can anyone confirm its a 3-4 week absence?
If he's out next week, they have a Week 7 bye so that'd be 4 wks.
Well, he'd miss 3 games (1 bye). It's pretty much a lock he's back for week 8. Out for 5, 6, 7 (bye). I don't see him missing week 8, that would be almost 30 days since the injury. Bye week is perfect timing. He should be 100% no question by week 8.

Boldin is going to end up being out for the year, you watch.

He's not even under contract after this year, why would he risk it?

 How does this guy get a reputation as a tough player? He's stayed healty for a full 16 games season only twice in his six year career and now he is taking 30 days to recover from something another athlete can return from in 10 days? Maybe he should look in the mirror and figure out why AZ won't pay him what he thinks he's worth.

 Interesting. It could happen since someone dropped him this week in one of my leagues  She might be an insider.

I think it was most likely just a bonehead move.
Actually, it's a big money league that I commish and she has been playing FF for years and currently runs 7 teams. So, she knows what she's doing so it wasn't a rookie panic move. She made a horrible decision IMO since she could have at least traded him. Other owners are waiting patiently for waivers on Wednesday. And when I realized that she manages her team for the current and not the future, I offered her McClain for B Jacobs and she accepted (she has McGahee).

Yeah, great way to announce to the league that you're soft and not worthy of a big contract. He will play again in Week 8 if not sooner.
 I think both Boldin and the team are also going out of their way to claim that he wants to play now and would be out on the field if the doctors would let him, etc. Injury PR is important, so I think any extra games missed will be blamed solely on the team.

So you think there is a chance he will play next week?

I never said it was a rookie panic move. I said it was a bonehead move. If she's played 7 years and still makes that mistake, then it simply supports what I thought.

The guy that came back in 10 days played hockey, it's not exactly a helmet to helmet contact sport like football.
