Just wanted to throw this out there... this is how fun sidebets are done.

A sidebet materialized out of the "I'm benching Campbell for _____" thread. TWP, a Pats loyalist (and likely realist) is confident that Brady will revert to his strong-armed ways. I (perhaps foolishly) have reverted to me Sox-fan ways of negativity and placed my chips in the corner of Campbell against my team (the Pats/Brady).

We've got 50/50 on the line between myself and TWP... and 25/25 between TWP and cardiac kid. We agreed upon standard FBG scoring which, I THINK, is 25 passing yards/point, 10 rushing yards/point, 6pt per TD, -2pt per INT, 2 per 2pt conversion. Please correct me on this if I'm wrong (likely am as I just got back from a company xmas party w open bar)

Anyways... good natured side bet.

For content purposes I'll say Brady's dinged and facing a team that's allowed 4 passing TDs over hte last half season. Campbell has outscored him over the last 4 weeks. Then again.... Brady is still brady and Campbell is still campbell. Thoughts?

I'd take Campbell over Brady this week. Would I have the stones to start Campbell over Brady? Probably not. I do think he will outperform Brady though.

I'm a 'Skins homer who'd take Campbell (with a whole lot of sweaty palms of course). Their passing game has been looking legitimately good, and the Giants simply don't have a good pass defense right now if their front four fail to get pressure. The 'Skins also lack a workhorse RB without Portis, leading them to rely even more on the passing game. Brady bothers me because of his finger, and because also the matchup vs. the Bills favors running over passing.

I'm actually benching Moss for Ochocinco in this game because of my concerns over the Pats passing game and Brady this week. The only reason Campbell is NOT starting for that team is that I have McNabb who is more "reliable" and who also has a good matchup.

I'm in the same boat. Have both and am intrigued by Campbell. But I can't bench McNabb for Campbell in a playoff game, I'd never forgive myself if that's what cost me a playoff win.
