Darn. I just traded away Antonio Gates for Donald Brown on Monday, and now here on Wed, it is announced he is out for 2-3 weeks for a knee issue that need an arthroscopy. Frustrating....

Misery loves company. I just traded in dynasty for Brown giving away Romo and Lafell.....19 hours before the news of the knee surgery...
 
Decided at the last second to start CJ, don't know why, just a feeling. Also picked up Kendall Wright and put him in to cover a bye. Not much but 7 points is 7 points.

 
Got home at 8:30 on Thursday, hadn't thought about football all week.

Figured I would check my FBGPC team. Realized that I had never subbed in Roethlisberger for Newton for the week. Now get to dredge the waiver wire. Ugh.

 
I'm in a 20-team IDP keeper league, and every (and I mean every) QB worth anything has been plucked from the waiver wire. I'm talking no Foles, Kaepernick, Cousins, Quinn, nothing. I screwed up my draft, so I only had Eli and Skelton to start with (eventually had to drop Skelton). I'm so desperate that I picked up Henne AND Thigpen in the hopes that at least one of Gabbert or Fitzpatrick gets benched.

I didn't bother posting a separate topic, because there's probably nothing that can be done to help. I don't have enough depth on my roster to make a trade. Shaun Hill and Kyle Orton are still available, but only an injury will get them on the field. If Stafford or Romo get injured, I'm gonna have to blow the rest of my FAAB money on their backups.

 
Dont you hate when you swear you changed your lineup, then open live scoring only to see you didn't....arghhh

 
what makes me sick is all these celebrations from these players either defense or offense when they make a good play.even though there team is down.

 
Shonn Greene has done nothing this season. How the hell am I facing him in three leagues this week?? Story of my year...

 
Murray finally starts to show some life, and he immediately gets hurt. Mcfadden makes a big catch to give me some hope, and now he's out of the game. Ryan has thrown three interceptions.

Today sucks.

 
Love it when i have denarius moore in my lineup until 20 minutes before the games start. I benched him for BRIAN HARTLINE. I hate fantasy football

 
Murray is set to have a great game.. and goes out hurt. Dez finally starts to have a good game, and goes to the locker room. At least Dez got a TD, but still.. c'mon man!

 
One other thing to add...I am in 7 leagues and don't have a single defensive/ST touchdown all season. Meanwhile, my opponents have scored 13 against me. I have faced the Jets, Bears, Texans, and now Ravens during big weeks. Seriously sucks.

 
Greene bench, gresham bench, mike williams bench :yawn: oh and started murray

Jesus, AJ Green getting bounced around my league more than I think should be possible and I somehow have played him 3 different weeks now.

 
shonn greene and andy dalton are destroying me. meanwhile, my qb who was #1 on every ranking list (ryan) is having a horrible game and i have julio too.

 
RGIII on my bench in 4 leagues because all of my backup QBs played at 1:00. Going to probably cost me four losses single-handedly. This just is not my year. I cannot set a good lineup to save my life.

 
Im not sure how Kyle Rudoplh managed to have such a negative impact on my day despite not being on my rosters. Learn to catch and learn not to false start on a gimme td for ADP.

 
Started K Kolb over RGIII. :wall:

Worried about Griffin's concussion plus Kolb against the Bills; seemed like a reasonable move.

I deserved to lose.

That's just bad. I would rather risk taking a zero and gambling on Griffin's upside than starting that terd. Hindsight is 20/20.

Same here. Might squeek out this week if Foster has an average game at least, but in each of my 3 losses I've left an average of 20+ points on the bench due to bad lineup decisions. You would think that the Ryan/RG3 combo would be a blessing, but it's turned into a nightmare for me.
 
2nd highest score in my league assuming DemThom gets at least 10 points and going to lose. :football:

Ran into a RG3 buzzsaw.

Also left a ton of points on my bench by starting Flacco over Russell, Bush over SJax, Mendy over Gordon, etc. Killed me.

 
still cant believe i lost to shonn greene and andy dalton vs a guy who had to start them due to brees and forte bye weeks. meanwhile, next week my whole team is on bye and my opponent has zero issues

Just because I know you guys all care I decided on Alex Smith as a replacement. Way to leave 15 points on the table.
 
Ugh, what a week. I play in 7 leagues and came into this week with a combined 28-7 record. I went 1-6 in my leagues and got destroyed in most of them. In my main league, I got a great game from Percy Harvin as usual, and Mcfadden was better than usual, but I got destroyed by Matt Ryan, Vernon Davis, Hakeem Nicks, Marshawn Lynch, Demarco Murray (although he looked great prior to the injury).

Overall, just a terrible week.

I hear ya. The curse of great depth but few "must starts" for me. I have left the monster games from RGIII, Charles, and Bryant, and Nicks all on the bench this year. Do you ever consider just picking a lineup and sticking with it barring injury?

No offense, but you are 29-13. Try being 21-21 when you are used to winning.
 
Getting beat by 80 points and dropping to 1-5. Worse, taded for Murray. Hurt. In last two weeks have lost Nicholas, DJ Smith to bring my total roster turnover to 14 of 24 drafted players. I'd say I want to quit but it has gotten so ridiculous that all I can do is laugh and the harder I try to at least stay semi-competitive the worse it gets.

 
When I saw Rodgers get 4 touchdowns on my opponent I was :wall: :wall:

Then I saw that Jordy Nelson got 3 of them I was :banned: :banned: since I have him

 
Up by 56 vs Rodgers and Ronnie Brown. Now I'm up by 17 with another quarter to go for Rodgers. Glad the Texans gifted him a TD with stupid penalties.

Nope, up by 1.5 now.

Rodgers already rocking 47 points, helping the opponent in my main league come back from a huge deficit. No one else on his team scored a TD this week.
