Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

After entering the season with question marks at WR, I now have to decide who to start between Danny Amendola, Antonio Brown, Josh Gordon, Justin Blackmon, and Ty Hilton every week.

Sad story.
I'm similar with Andre, DJax, Nicks, Gordon and Blackmon. I can start 3 with 1 flex
In PPR where I can start 3, I've got Cruz, Garcon, VJax, Gordon, Amendola, and K. Allen.

Left 10 on the bench by starting Gordon at Flex over VJax but I'm still gonna have the highest score in the league again. Just rolling on these fools.

Amendola apprently get kicked in his lady parts again. What a completely useless player. I let Waldman and Bloom talk me into believing in Amendola. Huge mistake.

I was this close to starting Keenan Allen over Vincent Jackson. Actually had him rostered until about an hour before kickoff. I'm sure Allen will do well tomorrow night, but JVax put up 28.6 points for me and I don't think Allen will beat that.

I'm probably going to regret not putting Allen in for Spiller, flex, but it looks like I'm going to win my matchup by upwards of 30 points anyway. :)

Does picking Gordon and Blackmon late in a 12 team PPR redraft make up for my moronic decision of taking TRich at #2 over Charles? Charles' foot injury in preseason scared me away.

cecil shorts, jimy graham, torrey smith, ray rice. 1-5 was 2nd in total points before this week. think this is last year playing this game. the frustration far out weighs the winning at this point.

3rd week in a row that I started a player that got injured in the 1st half of the game. Combine that with losing Julio Jones and I'm seeing my season slip away.

Pissed. I get +3 at 250 combined yards for a qb. Brees just over that mark. Chandler Jones (also on my team) tackles Brees for a loss on the Saints last drive moving Brees back under 250. But it doesn't count as a sack - so I lose 3 points for the 250 and 2 points for it not being a sack. 5 point swing...I hope they credit Jones with a sack.

Of course DeMarco Murray gets off to a nice start than hurts his knee when all I needed was 5 more PPR points to win.

Won by .4 in my main money league. Barring any stat changes im first place 5-1 top score in both my money leagues.

My lone undefeated team goes down ... and goes down hard. I'm facing Brees, Foster, Moreno, Marshall, Davis, Chiefs, and Gostkowski. While the only TD I got was from Romo, who otherwise had the worst game of his season. Lost by 70+ ... which is the worst defeat I've ever had. I guess sometimes you're the car ... and sometimes you're the bug that gets splattered on the windshield

Torrey Smith, you *******. Or rather Joe Flacco, you *******.

Gonna be a tight one tomorrow night. My 63 pts v his Rivers, Richardson, and Wayne. 6 pt pass TDs, PPR. Gonna be a close one.

If I do lose, it'll be with 2nd highest points in the league, so it would definitely be a "#### happens" week. He had the Rams DST. Ruthless.

Me to can't catch a break.. I have been trading, picking up players and play wrong players... Im 1-5 because I started Shorts over Desean

Well, 1-5 this year. Never tanked so bad before. RB draft choices were poor, WRs are poor. Traded away CJ2K for Mathews and Wilson (no regrets on the trade!) and of course they are injured. Can't get production out of any position consistently.

Only decent pick I made was Forte

League #1 Special thanks to my Cowboys Romo, Dez, and Witten not showing up last night.......just an average game and I win.

League #2 Special thanks to Blackmon and the Chiefs D......I score 137 in a 1/2 PPR for WR/TE only, and only had 1 TD pass (between Big Ben and Wilson), no rushing TDs, and only 1 receiving TD (J Thomas). Pretty hard to score the 2nd most points in the league with only 3 TDs total.

League #3 Special thanks to my rotten schedule luck. I have played the highest scorer 4 out of 6 weeks, and another week I played against Peyton's 7 TD game. 4th in points scored, 0-6 record. This week I played against Cam, Foster, Rudolph and the STL D. I think those 4 scored 120 points alone for my opponent.

Tearing my hair out. Gone from 3-0 to 3-3 in past three weeks. I have a very strong squad, the problem is I keep leaving points on the bench.

Over 100 points on my bench this week - Stafford, Bernard, Fitzgerald, V Jackson all completely outscored my starters Cutler, Murray, Forte, Gordon, Garçon.

Almost wish I had a #### bench. My opponent had no choices to make, left no points on his bench

same as me Dmac, Desean out and p.thomas, shorts in and the funny thing was I traded spiller/colston for dmac, desean and I played the guy this week and of course had both on bench which would have garnered me 26 more points. U guessed it I lost by 19. So instead of being 1 game out its 2, more like 3 because of Lower points tie break.... I need 7 in a row to closeout.

  • Ray Rice 6.4 pts
  • C Shorts 0 pts
  • J Graham 0 pts
  • Vikings DST -.51 pts
How I made it to 58 pts for the week is a miracle. First loss of the season in any of my 3 leagues. Can't complain about being 17-1 overall. It was a well deserved loss, Could have won with a subpar score like 100, but never had a chance with this lineup.

:ptts:

The statistical anomalies continue with my team. I came into this week 4-1, tied for best record and most points by a nice margin. This week I'm playing an 0-5 team, a noob owner who's made a series of really boneheaded moves. Easy win right? What would be the odds that all of my players have their worst performance in the same week?

QB: Peyton -- lowest points of the year so far.

RB: Gore -- 20 points, solid game for him

RB: TRich -- plays tonight

WR: Demaryius -- lowest

WR: Torrey Smith -- lowest

WR: Jeffery -- lowest

TE: Cameron -- second lowest

Flex: Romo: lowest

Of course I benched V Davis, Blackmon and Gio, so another problem is that I am in no way qualified to run this team.

torrey and trich over Blackmon and gio is just wrong.... I am smart enough to see that... How could Blackmon be on your bench esp after 140 yards his first week, and now this week he was playing against DEN who gives up most passing yards.... Trich is garbage, gio is looking studly in ppr.

Torrey Smith is WR8 in my league and had been one of the most consistent players on my team up until this week. No way I was benching him. The decision came down to Alshon vs. Blackmon and as a Giants fan I've watched them get torched every week by WRs. I knew Blackmon would have a solid game too and I saw the two as a toss-up, so I checked Bloom's rankings and he had Alshon ahead.

I was not happy to bench Gio. Just didn't like the matchup on the road against what has been an excellent run defense in Buffalo.

I just have to take it as a learning experience. Davis, Gio, Blackmon will start until further notice, and TRich probably goes back to the bench unless he shows me something tonight.

I have Rodgers, R.Bush (And Bell), D.Martin, Shorts, Olsen, Mathis and Willis in PPR/IDP league. Sadly every week I seem to get the guy who goes nuts, and am 2-4. It's a 16 team/10 player Keeper league so I know those 8 amd a few other pieces will help me bounce back - (Won league championship last year)........but this year I am now having a filresale on all the other non-keeper pieces and stickpiling draft picks for next year.

Team Time of Death - 3:28PST, 10/14/2013..... :topcat:

Lol. I guess that's why they say "with good in-season management you can..."

I feel ya. I have lost 4 games in one league by a combined 12 points and left my difference makers on the bench.

Did Roy Helu really have to get 32 yards in the last 14 seconds.

And tell me this: If a runner gets 15 yards because of a holding penalty, and the ball goes back 10 yards, because of the holding penalty, why does the runner keep the yards? They are ill-gotten!

Minnesota's defense killed me this week. So did playing Jordan Reed in the W/T flex spot over Larry Fitzgerald. I heard he was 50-50 to not play and didn't start him....

I'm about to be 6-0 in a league with e-friends.

With the fewest points scored.

I mean...I just...I don't even...how is this possible? There's lucky, and then there's this

that freaking NON-SACK call when Chandler Jones tackled Brees cost me a win. Lost by 1.5. What a sucky way to lose, oh well I get the call but it still sucks. If it was a sack I win by .5.

Fleener makes that catch at the end, I win. As it stands, I lost by 1.06 points. Murray's early injury last night killed me as well.

Just an awful season for me so far. Horrendous luck every week. Just brutal stuff.

Snapped an ugly 2 game losing streak, back to 4-2, 2nd in the points for the week got me back into the points title race, and the team feels good heading into next week.

RG3, AP, McCoy, AJ Green, Vincent Jackson, Torrey Smith, Andre Johnson, Jordan Cameron.

4-0 in my money leagues this week! :moneybag:

8-1 overall this week.

Rough start this season, but hopefully a sign of things to come.
