Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

Week 1, my team scores 129 points standard league and ends up being the second highest scoring team of the week, only behind the team who had Peyton's 7 TD performance.

Weeks 2-4, my team is averaging just 72 points per game, the lowest of any team in that span.

It's just sinking in that I'm gonna lose to a guy starting Brown, Simpson and Chandler. Why bother putting any work into this stuff?

 
I'm on the fast track to going 11 - 5 in my Money Leagues. Still early, but having a GREAT season.

I'm 14 - 6 counting my non-money league.

It's an insane 20-team, 2 QB (check that, QB flex), IDP league.

I had Eli and Bradford (blech), Murray and Bernard (eh), and Vernon Davis, Royal, Sanders (meh) as my main starters. I was actually the 3rd-highest scoring team through 3 weeks.

He also had Tony G. and Bowman and Alonso who got big points.

After the draft I plugged all the team into Dominator and I was the clear cut favorite - hell a chance at an undefeated season base don the numbers. Won week 1 convincingly and then the team imploded. 1-3. Every week scoring well but never quite enough. 3rd highest scoring team in the league and 1-3. This game is stupid.

 
Pats Kicker and Julio scored 29 tonight against me.

Need Brees to score 31 tomorrow night to tie and win tiebreaker.

Oh yah, I had Ryan on the bench and he scored 31. :cry:

 
Good thing I backed up spiller with his backup, and they both got hurt the same week! Thankfully I have solid backup in DMAC in a great matchup. No worries, I'll start Chris Johnson, who I decided to keep this year over Murray. Ugh, so frustrating, why do I bother.

 
Still the leagues leading scorer...or maybe 2nd by now. 1-3 with a great squad. Seems like every week something out-of-the-blue takes place and Im sitting there going :shrug:

I got Kembrell Thompkins'ed. Was a practical lock to win this week, now I am down 1....I have Sproles and my opponent has Lamar Miller. It's going to be close.

Thanks Doug Martin for that 1.7 YPC yesterday.

Leagues should give the last playoff spot to the team with the most points who didn't get in on their record.

 
Went up against a T. Gonzales/Gotskowski/Reggie Bush team. I still somehow have a chance to win, down 30-something, with Jimmy Graham and Brian Hartline to go.

You must be my opponent this week then. My team is up 31 points in standard yahoo shallow redraft and I still have Saints Kicker and Mike Wallace to play tonight. My opponent has Ryan Tannehill, Brian Hartline, and Jimmy Graham left. Going to be close.

Also a special thanks to Peyton Manning, Reggie Bush and Matt Forte. That Bears-Lions game was a fun one to watch.

Highest scoring team 3 out of 4 weeks.

Nursing an 11.5 pt lead in PPR v Jimmy Graham. Already accepted the loss (my first of the year.)

Through 1 quarter - no points for Graham.

Hope is a helluva drug...

 
I would've been the top scorer in our league this week even if I benched Peyton and took a zero instead of his 34.

Had 52 pt lead against brees and grahm. Poof.

Also lost in another league due to sproles. I hate the saints.

Forgot to add that I lost in a third league due to a tiebreaker and yesterday lost in fantasy baseball by a half point in a roto. Only a $500 swing and I led almost wire to wire.

I am going to take a break from sports...ugh.

 
Gonna lose by like 3 points in my PPR league unless Tannehill actually looks at Hartline at some point in these last 2 minutes. Unreal.

 
Lost by .45 with Hartline and Clay in there tonight. Thought I had a good chance in a PPR league with some garbage time production in the 4th quarter. Praying for a stat correction..

 
I finally took the lead tonight in one league, but those late Tannehill and Sproles turnovers almost made me lose the lead right back. I was about ready to flip out had I lost.

 
Phillip Rivers, on my bench, keeps out-scoring Romo. Had I started Rivers every week, my crap team would actually be 3-1 instead of 1-3

I was a little worried down around 42 with Brees and Sproles left. I am now up 20+ not even 6 minutes into the second half. Sproles has been redonkulous.

Already wrote this game off as a loss after Rice and Broyles got me a combined zero. Down 95-44.5 heading into tonight. He had Colston and a NO IDP. I had Brees, Sproles, Hartley and Vaccaro. I believe in miracles. Wound up winning 109-104. Had to be the biggest comeback I have ever had....yet am still only 2-2. Oh well, better than 1-3. Now to fix the rest of my crappy lineup.

 
I needed 13.5 from Miller last night to win. He got 12.8 in the first half. Felt pretty good about getting 7 yards in a half of football. 0.5 PPR, so a 2 yard catch would have worked too.

Second half started well. Dolphins ball, and the first play was a 5 yard run by Miller. I needed just 2 more yards.

Lost by 0.18.
