Bragging, venting, crowing, grieving... (1 Viewer)

First time ever owning Megatron... is this the sort of garbage I can expect when he's on the injury report? Questionable to play and non-existent?

Worst draft ever, 12 team 1PPR redraft

1.02 C Johnson

2.11 R Gronkowski

3.02 A Ellington

4.11 C Patterson

5.02 CJ Spiller

6.11 J Hunter

7.02 K Rudolph

8.11 R Griffin III

Injuries are killing me but it is pretty comical at this point. 12 team ppr league.

1.6 Calvin Johnson

2.7 Brandon Marshall

3.6 Doug Martin

4.7 Ryan Matthews

5.6 Jordan Cameron

Add in RG3, Niles Paul, not having a good year so far. Ugh

Guy in my league had peyton manning on bye and rolled out this lineup...

QB- Eli

Rb- gore, trich (benched foster)

Wr- watkins, jennings, royal

Te- daniels

Def- buf

Hes currently the high scorer. I th nk hes using the back to the future almanac.

This week looked like a loss on paper with Lynch, Ellington, Julius, and Floyd on bye. Their replacements (Asiata, L Miller, Donnell, and Allen Robinson) did alright. Oh, and that Luck guy helped too.

Going against Rodgers and Cobb. That defensive holding on the FG and TD pass on the next play really hurt.

Who the #### holds on defense during a FG?

Sat Asiata for Spiller/Miller. Played Calvin instead of Hartline. Decent lead though with Jordy, Stafford and pieces.

Playing against Murray and Williams tonight in a big division game.

Effing nervous now... up by 6.

Still have Gronk tomorrow but I like being up 40 instead of 6 with this game going the way it is.

There is a team in my league with 3 qbs, 2 K and 2 D with 16 roster spots. How are they about to go 4-0? Oh yeah ZERO injuries so far.

Made a bunch of trades in a 12 teem PPR and have ended up with this team which is the low scoring team in the league this week. I FREAKING GIVE UP.Going to be 2-2

QB Matt Ryan

RB1 Mccoy

RB2 P. Thomas

WR1 Dez

WR2 Julio

TE Davis

Flex K. Benjamin

PK M. Bryant

Bench

QB Bortles

RB Chris Johnson, Joique Bell, Vereen

WR Damaryius Thomas, Rubin Randle, Marvin Jones

TE Jordan Reed

Fantasy football needs to be programmed to allow players to be swapped out for injury/nonperformance. I'm getting sick of this Cordarelle Patterson/Calvin Johnson/Robert Griffin et al Bull**** every week.

Looks like I'm staring at 1-3. My rough year continues:

- Drafted AP over Charles

- Dropped Houston DST after Clowney went down

- Dropped T. Williams

- Slept on picking up Donnell b/c I thought Ertz was better.

Down by 5 now. UGH! I do have Bailey so maybe some garbage FG's instead of TD's this half. Would help my mind greatly.

I really thought that Marshall/A Johnson/D Jackson/Colston could be a competent group of WRs. Even with Murray, this collective group of suck will have me 3-5 after the week in my dynasty.

In my redraft, I'm clusterLucking fools to the tune of the most points in the league.

You win some, you lose some.

Torrey Smith has to be the biggest non-injury bust in the league.
Torrey has always been overrated. Seems like every year people are saying it will be his breakout year when he just isn't that good. He is big play or bust.
had torrey last year, and he was a solid contributor to my worst season ever. Happy to have landed Steve Smith Sr. again and erase those T Smith memories.

I had Lorenzo Taliaferro queued up all week as my RB2 because of some bye weeks but on Sunday morning I found DeAngelo Williams on the DL. After leaving points on the board with that change, I need Gostkowski to stay within 9 points of Charles tonight.

Yahoo Pro ($) league where I drafted Adrian Peterson 2nd overall...this week I started:

Rivers

Antonio Brown, Cobb, DeAndre

Murray, Asiata

Donnell

Shayne Graham

NE DEF (plays tonight)

Standard/default Yahoo scoring...172.46 points + whatever the NE DEF scores tonight

Unless Gronk outscores Gostkowski by 15 points, I'm about to be 0-4...I'm also the best team in the league going by points scored through 4 weeks. That shouldn't even be possible.

Crazy crap happens. Last year in a league I was, get this...undefeated at 6-0...with the fewest total points scored.

Sometimes you get really, really lucky...or you get totally and completely screwed.

Head to head is, really...a terrible format.

A combination of H2H and allplay...where you get two wins/losses per week (one head to head, the other simply giving a W to the top half scorers and an L to the bottom half scorers) has got to be the best way to go. Not many sites seem to support that though, and I've never actually done it...thought I want to

Also, #### the Philly defense/ST
I second that. Lost 144-138 and he had Larry Donnell and Philly's D.

I asked him why he would pick up Donnell when Washington's D gave up only 2 receptions for 14 yards to the TE the week before. He told me Philly's tight end isn't any good....and yes he didn't know who their TE was. He is now 4-0.

This is the kind of #### that will drive me away from redraft fantasy football. I put too much time into this to have someone who doesn't even use the ####### internet, win on a weekly basis because Larry Donnell happened to be the biggest piece of f'n paper in the hat this week and his hand happened to grab it.

Went up against Matt Ryan, Matt Asiata, Jordy Nelson, Larry Freakin Donnell and the Dolphins D to boot.

Because of byes, had to roll out Donald Brown in flex.

Why is is that almost every single week of fantasy, every year, there is a backup that comes in with a great match-up that proceeds to do absolutely nothing? Exhibit A, Donald Brown. Home to Jacksonville, received over 30 touches last week, how on earth does he only get 10 carries for 19 yards in a game San Diego won handily? Because it's the unwritten "obvious" law, if a backup player comes in and has a matchup that should be awesome, it will obviously turn out to be the opposite.

Sunday, 12:45 p.m. Eastern Time: I'm driving south like a maniac, listening to ESPN Radio for an update on Calvin Johnson, trying to get home in time to update my lineup.

Update from ESPN... Calvin's active! Not gonna make it home in time, so I call the league commissioner and ask him if he can process my roster change: Calvin IN, Matt Asiata OUT.

No problem, sez the commish. Done and done.

:wall:

In Yahoo Pro League, this week I'm the second highest scorer going against the highest scorer. I guess it balances out, as last week I was the second lowest scorer going against the lowest scorer.

C'mon, Gronk... need 6 points from you. C'mon, Gronk!

Don't make me regret starting the wrong people. Bail me out, Gronk.

Y'know, figured having Gronk + 20 going in against Alex Smith was pretty safe. Thanks Patriots.

nm, thanks garbage time.
