Brandon Jackson (1 Viewer)

In one of my leagues B-Jackson and Mike Sims-Walker were traded for Calvin Johnson.

I thought the person giving up CJ got the better end of the deal, but it seemed like a fair deal.

Guy in my league wants too much for a guy who has missed 4, 3 & 5 games the past three seasons on very limited touches. Plus the lead RB in GB averages around 1,300 yards & 8 TDs over the last three seasons. Not too shabby but not worth breaking the bank for IMO.

This is a passing team and I don't think any team throws the ball more around the goal line than GB (maybe Philly).

 It's not like we are talking about Jonathan Stewart finally getting to start. We're talking about a guy who has been in the league a few years, under achieved, been injured, plays on a passing team, and now gets a starting gig. But will get TD carries? How much will he be used in the passing game. Personally, I think he is a high end RB3 for now. I wouldn't want to rely on him as one of my two starting RBs. Would much rather have Bradshaw for example.

I might be a little higher on Jackson than you. I think he catches better than Grant, and has a shot at being a 3 down back for the most part. I just don't have faith that he will hold up for long or that he will have many opportunities at short yardage TDs.

Was offered him for R Bush in a PPR - turned it down. I'm just not a believer, although I admit Jackson might be the better play for a few weeks. As EBF says, *any* NFL RB can get 100+ and a TD if you give him the carries. But I see Jackson getting replaced.

PPR. I traded for him and Mike Thomas. Gave up Ochocinco and threw in Buckhalter to make it an even number of players.

I was offered Ocho, which seemed pretty fair to me. I turned it down for now since I think that offer will still be around after the Buffalo game, and I'm interested to see what Jackson can do. Still, that's about what I'd expect for him: a good, not great, WR.

wait til after week3 if you want to trade him. I don't think his value will last too long, but he should have a nice PPR effort this week vs BUF and next vs DET.

Brandon Jackson will be fantastic all year long because I have him on my subscriber team for $4. Last year I had Sidney Rice for $4
