Turns out the Tiki Barber owner in my league just dropped Jacobs. I had targeted him at the draft in our auction, but was out bid... I'm thinking of releasing Benson for him, but I wanted to get an idea of what others thought about him.

I think I recall a footballguys e-mail update regarding Jacobs and how he wanted to see the ball more. I could be mistaken, this could have been Barber III. I get those two confused quite a bit since they are in similar situations.

He had a great last preseason game, the Giants have an awesome backup to Tiki. Think he's worth a roster spot? Think he can do damage if Tiki goes down?

Yes, I would drop benson for Tiki in a heartbeat.

Yes, it was Brandon Jacos that is supposed to start seeing the ball more, not sure what that means exactly, I wouldn't drop Tiki over it though.

Brandon Jacobs could do pretty good if Tiki goes down, I would pay attention to the schedule and match ups though.

Sorry for the confusion, Jacobs was dropped.I don't wnat to turn this into a "should I drop so and so for Jacobs" post becuase that belongs in the Assist. Coach forum.Just wanted to get some news from NYG fans and people who have followed this preseason with Tiki and Jacobs.I know Jacobs stole Tiki's goal line carries last year... and I thought he was to see the ball more this year?EDIT:Thanks HK!!!
