Braylon Edwards (1 Viewer)

B. Nugget

He came back earlier than expected this year and produced some nice numbers (61/884/6) in that crappy offense with less than stellar QB play. Is the future bright for him after another full year to recover from the ACL or is he going to stay in that WR 30-50 range? Would a top QB like Quinn or Russell help or hurt his numbers?

Also, I was curious to get thoughts on how he compares in a dynasty format to younger WRs like...

Fitz

B.Marshall

Bryant

Colston

Boldin

Chambers

Plax

I like Edwards for dynasty purposes. I would rank them like this....

Fitz (

Boldin

Plax

Edwards

Colston (let's see 2 years out of him)

Chambers

Bryant

Marshall

Do you rank Marshall that low because Rod Smith hasn't retired yet and he hasn't really proven anything or do you see something in him you dislike?

He has some skill and definetly the size and speed to be a nice player down the road but if I was drafting tommorrow that is the way I would draft them. I could maybe see putting him above Bryant but I do like Bryant's skill just his attitude sucks. I guess I would just feel more comfortable drafting a more proven player than a rookie I haven't seen alot from.

Well I recall a late-season game where Braylon Edwards caught the ball with nothing but open field between him and the end zone and he got run down from behind VERY quickly. Braylon got up and was absolutely ticked off because he just didn't have the speed.

Its possible the ACL injury has robbed him of some speed permanently. Hard to say. Right now he's definitely no burner.

WKNR is reviewing the presser held by Browns GM Phil Savage this afternoon.

One of the comments that raised a lot of eyebrows was when he described Braylon Edwards as an "underneath receiver", which implies he doesn't have the speed.

He hasn't shown the speed all year and perhaps the club feels he won't ever get it back.

Maybe a hint the Browns are looking at Johnson with the #3

Savage should be fired if that happens.
