Breaking Bad on AMC (2 Viewers)

Hank and Gomez are setting up Walt there, right? No way that conversation goes down just when he happens to be in the office. If it's just a coincidence, that's weak.

Two things I'm unclear about:

1) When Mike was listening to the bug, Gomey told Hank they have a warrant for Mike. But WHAT stuff did they have on him to get the warrant?

2) Are we to assume Mike bailed on his granddaughter in the park, figuring she'd be safe with all the cops?

Jesse will be after him because Walt will kill Mike (and he'll finally figure out all the things Walt has done to him).

The DEA will be after him because Hank will figure out he is Heisenberg.
Now this is what I'm talking about.

As far as the second part is concerned...

The one question I've had since season 1 is what the hell happens if Hank figures out Walt = Heisenberg? Hank's career has to be over. He will either look totally complicit or totally inept when it is discovered that his brother-in-law was the guy he was looking for all along.

Not sure about 1 but as far as #2 goes I guess that's what he had to be thinking. Kid looks around, can't find Grampa Droopy, hopefully she'll ask a cop for help like all good American school kids are taught.

Now my mind is racing, wondering why Walt is at a Denny's with a machine gun later on.

This may have just overtaken The Wire as my favorite drama ever.

Was just thinking the same exact thing
That happened after the Salud episode for me but this one was outstanding. One of the best episodes of the series. Writing, acting, cinematography, etc are all on another level. The Wire had a great story but uneven acting and wasn't pretty to look at (maybe that was the point but all Simon's stuff is rather dull).

When Mike said this was all Walter's fault and that they could have continued the way they were under Gus, was he right? It seemed to me that from the very beginning Gus intended to kill Walter the moment he had someone else that could do the same job, and therefore Walter, if he wanted to live, had no choice but to kill Gus first. But perhaps my memory is faulty about this...

Not the same bag

I can also confirm that he didn't have a Moons Over my Hammy for breakfast that day. Just eggs, hash browns & bacon.

I'm sure Raider Nation will be happy with breakfast talk.

Another amazing :o moment tonight was when the lawyer is loading money into the box...

The camera swings quickly to the vault door where the agents are standing. Perfect.

Gus didn't want to replace Walt until he ran over those dealers.

Gus was under increased pressure from the Mexican cartel due to employing Walter after he killed Tuco. There was no way Gus could have kept Walter on staff and ran business as usual. The cartel wanted vengeance and were not going to stop until Walter White was killed.

Saw it coming a few minutes into the episode. Good tension.

I had the same thought re: Fring & Walt, that there was no way Walt could just be the quiet cook for very long because Fring would have had him killed sooner or later.

Not so sure there was that great of pressure after the poolside massacre.

Fair point but I would venture to guess that the poolside massacre would only provide a brief intermission to the war. Have to believe that Tuco's uncle still had contacts and would have had some sort of payback in the works.

 to Mike for giving Walt a heavy dose of troof even though it probably cost him his life. Funny to see Heisenberg turn on the drop of a dime to the weaker and fragile Walter White we knew from the first few seasons.
