Breaking Bad on AMC (16 Viewers)

...why he was so angry walking away. Is it because he is contributing to this kid's and his new girl's demise? Nah, it's probably because they're selling for $300 a teenth and he is getting paid ####. Do the the math, yo.
I thought he was fuming because he just figured out who killed (or at least who called the hit) on Combo and we're about to see some YoBiatch revenge.
combination of all of the above im sure

I agree with the "don't make the same mistake twice" being don't work with Jessse although my g/f threw out there that he may have meant not to get back with Skylar. Jesse is such a wild card. Completely not someone who Pollos would have a business relationship. And enough things were said in the lab that could incriminate Jesse.

The meth could be blue. Those guys could be selling Pollos' meth. I can see why Jesse would be pissed if it's selling for that much and he's getting so little combined with the revenge factor.

Just got to wait and see. To many ifs.

That was my first impression until I started thinking about if the meth was blue or not. No way he "shoots the baby in the face" though, and I don;t think he stands a chance against the guys in the car. Maybe like a lot of other twists the Jesse problem takes care of itself in regards to Walt and he gets himself killed.

I didn't think he was mad at the kid, I was guessing it was the dudes in the car who are going to get it.

Love that. Anyone have a screen shot of Jesse's webpage that Skylar found? I think it was a resume of sorts with lots of weed icons. Under EDUCATION he had his high school and under that he had bullet pointed "THE STREETZ, YO!". :lmao:

If Jesse is surprised at how much the Meth costs, it's gotta be high quality meth...the blue stuff he and Walt cook. He's pissed because the guys who killed Combo work for the guy he works for now.

Baffled how they didn't actually show the color of the meth Jessie bought at the end.
It seems like a forgone conclusion that it's going to be meth Jessie and Walt cooked. But the show has fooled us, or at least me, before.
In the preview, you see Gus telling Walt/Jessie that they need to let this go. These previews can be anything, but I'd guess that they were dealing Gus/Walt's blue meth. This is also leading to the ultimate clean up of Walt's partnership with Jessie imo.Giving it some more thought, I think that Jessie is going to try to hit that gang despite Gus telling him to let it go. Walt will have to intervene to save Jessie OR does he allow Jessie to get whacked? That will probably be the season finale. Can Walt sacrifice Jessie like he did with Jane?

If they didn't kill off Hank, I can't see them doing it to Jesse. Aaron Paul and the writers are doing too good of a job with his character development.

Yeah, I thought the fact that they were having the kid hold the meth while they collected the cash was a big addition to his anger. Clearly, in spite of casting himself as "the bad guy", Jessie has a soft spot for kids and hates seeing them corrupted.

alluded to in the preview when Jesse talks with Walt about finding out who killed Combo.. and Walt says "you are not a murderer!"

Ahh. My recording cut a little short and I didn't see previews.

Someone help me out: who was Combo and what relationship did he have with Jesse? I've seen the entire series and I'm having a hard time remembering.

He was one of the 3 dealers/friends who worked for Jesse. He was working the corner where Jesse went to make the buy last week.In an episode last year Combo was working the corner as the same kid on a bike was riding around in circles behind him, when some rival dealers (was it the same guys as last week?) pulled up next to him and Combo flashed his gun. They drove off then the kid capped Combo.Combo was also in a flashback from earlier this season where he was partying with Jesse who spent nearly all the $$$ Walt gave him to buy an RV. Combo then sold his mom's RV to Jesse.

He worked with Jesse and was his street distribution. He also sold Jesse the first RV, yo!

Ahhhh cool. So it appears as thought Jesse will be getting some revenge.

There is no way there is a season 4 is there? I mean they can make this an all time classic series if they leave it 3 seasons. No need to drag it out.

I don't think it's been renewed yet, but with only two episodes left, they are definitely leaving the door open for another season. Now if they could just give me more Deadwood my life would be complete...

My prediction for this week is that Jesse wants revenge. Walt tries to talk him out of it. Jesse does it anyways.

This series is good for 5 seasons. After that pull the plug.
Not really, i think they are tying up loose ends with Hank, Jesse (potentially) and walt and gus. The crazy brother angle is resolved and they are slowly creeping into "jumping the shark" territory with Skyler getting into the business. Plus there is the whole "terminal cancer" thing going on.

I think we'll see a season of Hank slowly piecing together what Walt does. Its the confrontation that's been brewing since Season 1.

Agreed. If it doesn't get there then I'll be shocked. Similar to Dexter, where he will be caught by his sister.

I don't see how this doens't last at least 1 or more seasons. It never occurred to me that it might end in two weeks.

The ultimate conclusion of this series has to end with Hank and Walt, IMO. That is not going to happen in the next two episodes.

I can see "Windy" describing the scene now. "There was this little crack head who says nothing but "yo" walking towards my dealers. He was the same guy that wanted me to poison them before being kidnapped in broad daylight by a guy who had to be a cop. Anyhow, as "Yo" was walking towards them a Pontiac Aztec with no hubs and blue tape holding in the windshield cames out of nowhere and runs down my connection. Hell yes it was an Aztec! A girl in my line of work spends a lot of time in cars. That one may look ugly but it has a lot of 'headroom' if you know what I mean."

I've heard them mention on the podcasts that the writers try to keep the characters true to their nature. So why would Walt risk his life, and his family's lives, to save Jesse in this situation?

Simply awesome. My wife (who missed hank getting shot) said, "well jessie is about to die". Show is so unpredictable. Just awesome. Looks like heisenberg is back.

Walt is pretty smart, he probably knows Jessie better then anyone and has already stated that Jessie is not a murderer, there's a chance he knew that Jessie did not kill Tomas and recognized this was a setup by Gus and his right hand man to have the Jessie situation get resolved (ending in a gun fight between Jessie and the two thugs).

I also think Walt might have been insulted by Gus to put these two low level dealers on the same level as the "chefs", they're expendable and Walt owes Jessie a lot from the past and if he got to decide who died he chose the two thugs over Jessie.

My only criticism with this ep is that I think it would be pretty easy for Walt to explain to Jessie, "Look we poison these two thugs, and two more sprout right back up. You accomplish nothing. What they did in killing Combo was good business, you would have done the same if someone encroached on your turf."

I knew Walt was going to save Jesse there, didn't think it was going too happen by car though.

I'm not entirely satisfied with this ending though. It seemed like they were really stretching the limits with how far to take things, I didn't buy the fact that Walt would do that.

Sometimes Walt gets extreme. He burned a guy's car up just because he was annoying.

Also didn't like the fact that Gus was so close to the street level dealers. There is no way they should know who he is. They are too far down the chain for a guy as careful as Gus is, he shouldn't have any interactions with them. That seemed a bit farfetched to me.
